We love Ripley, the butchers sells one of the best pork pies and the ice cream with melted chocolate on top from the place next to Ripley Stores is excellent.
If you get back to the area, have a look at Hillside Caravan Park in Knayton, 4 miles from Thirsk, wonderful location. Also make sure you go to Northallerton, well worth a visit.
Great video. There is a lot more to the James Herriot attraction than I thought there was, will definitely go in next time we are near.
