8:21m that little movement sequence is amazing, beautiful to watch. He is so at ease with his technique that he can begin to 'throw' and decide mid-execution whether it will be a feint or a strike based off his opponent's reaction, just so good.
I LOVE WATCHING Karuhat He is the coolest dude in a fight ring See him a lot on Sylvie`s seems great outside the ring too As usual a great film thanks for all the work
Matee Jedipitak said he hated fighting him, summing it up as "him better than me". One of my favorite Golden Era fighters, dude was a freaking ring genius. He must have frustrated the shit out of every one of his opponents.
Lol I train under Matee at Warrior Way. I’m going to ask him about this guy. Just stumbled upon this vid and saw “master of deception/elbow specialist” and I was immediately intrigued
So much agression and intensity but so much poise, timing and technique. Really a marvel, a magician with the body one might even say. Thanks for taking the time to do this.
Fight IQ + feline movements combined with probably one of the best defenses in the history of this sport.. but the feature that makes karuhat so special is his innate ability to read and steal so much time from opponents to the point of leaving them completely uncovered.. (8:45) then so much lightness and aesthetics..
I recently watched Karuhut vs Boonlai's fight. It was absolutely beautiful from both fighters 😎 They truely took martial to an artistry level!! One can only hope to match up to their athletic and fight IQ levels. Ten ten 🤗 for the golden age muaythai fighters 💪💪
the little section at 8:20m is crazy.. stutter step to feint left kick to straight punches to rh and fade.. totally sells every feint and movement. Man is a genius fighter.
Brilliant.ring genius , like all muay thai greats he fought anyone and everyone. And he looked small against some of his opponents but he didn't care. Great video mts
Can't believe I'm just now seeing this! Easily among my favorite technicians (a list that grows daily). One thing I wanted to point that I love from his arsenal is his leaping roundhouse. He throws it so well and covers space with it so quickly. He caught Boonlai with it at least twice in these clips, I think.
Brilliant video. Do you have other film studies like this? Can't seem to find when I search 'Muay Thai Scholar Film Study'. Would love to see more, especially of golden era muay fimeu fighters
Aaron well done with your channel mate! People please know Aaron was the FIRST Farang to beat a Thai on Thai Fight if I remember correctly! Also is this fights name Eg and was in in Phuket? Looks familiar!
Great vid and nice new approach you are taking. Quality audio as ever. Dare I say a more polished version of LK. One observation on the 'unconventional' appraoch and footwork: it is for modern ring muay, but a lot of these Golden Era guys learned the Mae Mai/Boran techniques from the legacy of their teachers. Using the hop into range and switching stance are standard for disciplines such as Muay Chaiya.
F.I.N.A.L.L.Y.... :) If I'm allowed to dream for a while I'd like to imagine amazing match ups. A peak Karuhat vs Saenchai, Somrak, Samart and Poor PotLek.
Lawrence kenshin he's good but these guys are better on the internet also vtr is excellent for old and new school fights. Also karuhat is one of the best during his time.
This Thai has venom in all 8 limbs. Maybe he is the reincarnation of the great warrior king in the thai legend?the one where the thai king is captured by the Burmese in battle and the Burmese king says to him "I hear you are a good fighter,if you can defeat my 10 best warriors I'll free you"so as I recall the thai king beat all his champions 1 by 1 using all 8 weapons of muay thai. And proclaimed "this Thai has venom in all 8 limbs let him go and escort him back to his kingdom safely"or so I remember.

I LOVE WATCHING Karuhat

As usual a great film thanks for all the work
Yeah, he comes across as a great coach and very likeable... the stuff on Sylvie's channel is pure gold technique wise
His fight with Boonlai shows the sheer skill, speed, and vision that Karuhat has.
Just how great was Veeraphol
Karuhat definitely one of my favorite fighters of the golden era. He was so calm, composed and methodical in his bouts. Great film study 👍😎
Matee Jedipitak said he hated fighting him, summing it up as "him better than me". One of my favorite Golden Era fighters, dude was a freaking ring genius. He must have frustrated the shit out of every one of his opponents.

You and Lawrence Kenshin are geniuses when it comes to fight breakdowns. Definitely should do a collab!
Holy moly 9:55 is the wildest exchange of kicks I've ever seen. I love how they both nod and smile at each other afterwards.
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 more film studies

Duuude.. the stutter-step then a straight punch. brilliant tactic. people shift their attention to the legs every time

Beautifully put together an explained thank you MTS. Karuhat is muay thai poetry. Pure fimeu. Its like watching the sistine Chapel in movement 👌😂

Brilliant video! Love the brief bits of analysis 👍👍🙏
You know, I'd have loved a Karuhat vs Saenchai if it was Prime vs Prime. I actually think Karuhat would take it
Fantastic breakdown. Thank you
Thank you for the video and the education!
Wow!!! This was great to say the least. Epic footage and very informative technique breakdowns. You should definitely do more of these! OSS! 🙏
Brilliant.ring genius , like all muay thai greats he fought anyone and everyone.
And he looked small against some of his opponents but he didn't care.
Great video mts
Sorry, the Ring Genius name doesn’t belong to Karuhat. Namkabuan has the name as the Ring Genius.
