The great thing about the internet is being able to connect with people around the world. The bad thing about the internet is that people that have nothing of value to say have a voice, and often scream the loudest. A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion. Good stuff as always brother 👊🏻
@@daneeisen8566 the monotone narration makes you just want to take an ice pick to your ears just to make it stop..seriously I'd be willing say watching paint dry and grass grow may be more enjoyable..
Hey Jack . ✌️👋. You’re doing a good job . Don t listen to the naysayers . They don’t do anything but criticize and talk smack . That’s a big undertaking for a young dude to hammer out all that work and come through . Shows that you care . It s impressive and I m sure your family is proud . I run my own business as well and the start up was a lot of work for like 5 years getting tools and reputation , getting better . Now it’s easier but the body aches are a bitch in the morning . Take care of your body brother , you only got one .
Right on brother!! I appreciate the kind words & I wish you the best on your continued mission. This is not for the weak & I’m sure you know what I mean! Thanks again & make it a great day
Im a little confused. You said - you send the file to a CNC machinist who cuts the blanks (from the file) on steel they provide BUT then you show YOUR CNC. So.... (am i understanding this correctly) you did NOT machine the blanks but NOW you do? Im not understanding you.
Hey there, great question! For the 2023 models, I sent the knife design files to a water jet company in NJ, USA where they then cut my desired qty of blanks. For 2024 models, I’ll be cutting all knives in-house via CNC. So correct, I did not machine the blanks before but now I do. 2023 was water jet, 2024 will be CNC. I hope that helps! Thanks
Just because you hired someone to write a CNC program doesn't mean you didn't design that product. An engineer can take YEARS designing a product on CAD and then hire a CNC machinist to write the program. Thats like saying someone isn't an architect because they hired a plumber to do the toilets. Keep making your beautiful knives Jack, the people who have no idea what they're talking about out themselves when they start typing.
Thanks for the video brother. Keep doing what you're doing
Your fine Jack, don't let the spoilers get you down!

Most kmife makers use someone for waterjetting services ...doesnt make you any less of a knife maker.
