I like how you added part of the Lake Guardians' theme. It's fitting because they're also based on ancient relics, in this case the Japanese Imperial Regalia.
What they meant was that Azelf, Mesprit and Uxie are based on the Imperial Treasure of Japan (which are a magatama, a sword and a shield/mirror). And since Chi-Yu and Chien-Pao are both based on a magatama and a sword, there's kind of a relation between them 🙂 (btw, sorry for the possible errors, I'm french)
This quartet is already up there with the Legendary Beasts and Tao Trio as my favorite legendary groups they're so fucking cool I love everything about them. Nice cover!

I wasn’t a huge fan of the quartet when I first saw them (I think I roasted Chi-Yu for like the rest of the day after I caught it lmao) but they really grew on me, and this kick-ass theme definitely helped 10/10 cover, and the lake trio’s motif in the middle absolutely perfected it tbh

this track reminds me of some of the badass battle themes of the first few gens, like the regi theme or Lance’s champion theme the gym battle theme for Scarlet & Violet disappointed me with how goofy/busy it sounded, it’s alright but it just doesn’t hit like pokemon battle themes should. but they nailed this one
Yep, Ichinose was in charge of this one so it has a more "familiar" feel without being too oldschool (like the ones Masuda did for this game). It's my fav of the bunch as well!
