Also brings me back to when we were little kids and you made us the prettiest paper horses to play with in your room and we’d use little broken twigs from the yard to make fences for corrals and pens for them in your thick, purply pink bedroom carpet. You made the cutest saddles, too! I LOVE that your love of horses has carried on to these videos all these years later 😭🫶🏻🖤

Yeah, it's always sad when flaws are really noticeable because then you don't forget they're there and it was a pretty expensive collectible to have an un-ignorable flaw. BUT, that's the way of mass manufacturing I suppose; not enough staff or time or materials to make each one closer to perfect. Oh well. I've been pretty lucky to get some great horses so I can be okay taking a turn getting some bummer ones. 😅 Maybe I'll be able to fix them up so I don't notice. 🙂 But thank you so much! Wow we got the same surprise models! I pulled a glossy buckskin and sold him, used what I got back to buy the medicine hat and black tobiano then decided I'd just buy the chestnut too. The Chestnut's little belly spot is so cute!
The little belly spot is SO cute! I didn't even notice his until after I edited his section, darn it. Secret belly spots are my favorite! Nice job on using a glossy to get those other two models! These three colors we got are so pretty!

Congrats on the Araba variation! That's awesome. I assume the cut in the video there was to pull out the dinosaur screeching. At least, that's what I did when I opened my purple Gran Cavallo, lol. I had to scale way WAY back as I have a trip to Ireland and the UK next month, but did I absolutely need Via Lattea? Yes, yes I did. I'm also sad I couldn't afford a Tilly this year, but here's hoping the prices come down eventually. Nemea and Speos would have been my SR choices if I could have attended, but I'm willing to wait to hopefully get them down the line. And congrats on the diorama contest win! That's lovely. Were you able to fix the leg? How do you fix it without breaking it?! I have a Calista that I just got and her one hind hoof is at a bit of a weird angle. She still stands fine, but it’s just enough that I notice and it bothers my perfectionism 😅
Hi! This is a super late reply--sorry! Did you figure out how to repair your Calista's leg? I have a heat gun from the hardware store, but I've heard of hairdryers on high heat working for this too. Basically you just warm the plastic a little at a time, and with a cloth to hold the leg so as not to burn your fingertips, gently coax the warped leg to where it should be. You start with the heat fairly far back and wave it over the leg. Holding the heat on one spot or too close will bubble the paint, and sometimes even the plastic (heat guns do that easily). If you go to move the leg but it still feels solid, heat a little longer. Hope that helps!

I used a nail clipper to cut those tight bands off legs and they work great without hurting the model.
You got a lot of nice models. That is unfortunate for the ones that have warped legs.
