We live in a world where our free time is limited and precious. About 10 years ago I had the choice between Destiny and Final Fantasy. I chose poorly. It is time to rectify that mistake. Now I have played ARR before, infact my account is the kind that won't allow me to get a free trial. I have completed the main quest of ARR and nothing else. I decided to start from scratch after seeing the bonuses for making a character on an unpopulated server.
