Holy crap we're at almost 650 now! If anybody was interested in section about game streaming, my newest video goes over my setup for this type of thing and how to do it yourself!
To be fair, the switch is about a 1/3rd of the price of the s24, so I'd expect those benchmarks. We're still early, lot of modders tend to wait until a console is end of life before they really go all out...firmware patches really slow progres
Great vid going over the niceties of the modded SWOLED. I sold my modded SWOLED about 2 weeks ago and already missing the fun and tinkering I had with it. Got a great deal for it and awaiting news on the new Switch. As for now, my Ally does fine emulating Switch games, not near perfect on some, but most are fine. I wouldn’t mind coming back into the scene again with another modded Swoled, but if I do, I’ll opt to get one of those special editions chipped next time.
All Switch using old 2015 non customised downclock Tegra X1. But I can play Hogwarts Legacy on my Switch Lite already 55 hours at level 31 with decent graphics & upper 20fps-30fps. Really enjoy this game so much. Can't wait for a newer customised processor inside a Switch 2 ❤
Gave ya a sub, like and well a comment :) your thumbnail is pretty spot on your videos timestamps were really helpful and I just wanted to tell you to keep it up. I see a lot of channel not anywhere nearly put together as well as this and I hope this finds you well :)
Dude jailbreaks a Switch and dont install Mobox on it even though he installed Android already Of course Switch wouldnt run like a steam deck, but older AAA games run fine on Mobox, like Assassins Creed, Far Cry up to the 3 just the fact we can run Wine on smartphones and switch is already a miracle
You ain’t pushing it to its limits. You’re well beyond its limits for sustained use. I love my chipped OLED but I wouldn’t push it to double the performance.
the tegra x1 in it nintendo cut the clock speeds of it in half to extend battery life, All he is doing is setting the clocks back to what the tegra x1 can handle stock. the only bad thing would be crazy battery degredation
I have a v1 switch I modded and it's amazing. You can't quite lock every game at 60 FPS. But you can with some or at least get close. Even 40ish fps is better than 30. Skyrim is mostly stable 60 FPS indoors and caves. Around 40's outside. That and with a few graphics mods installed it looks way better than you think it would on switch.
You can literally play xbox remote on any device, tablet phone , even some tv-s . No one paying 300£ on a crappy nintendo to mod then play xbox games on the xbox he already has.
Exactly. The 140,000,000 Switch consoles sold are mostly for Nintendo games that are better than anything else on the market. The 27,000,000 who bought an Xbox Series console use it to play games they can play anywhere else.
@@perrycoffey5410 I'm not American and my nationality isn't really relevant buddy, It's simply just not worth the time and all the effort it takes. Wow, that is good to know, but too late for me. I already installed Lineage OS and would hate to reformat everything again trying to install Ubuntu on it. What is the performance on other retro systems the Switch can handle via Ubuntu? I use Ubuntu all the time so I am familiar with it, just not on the Switch.
@@Cyko.. For GBA and NDS, the switch NRO ports of mGBA and MelonDS work better than the Ubuntu builds. However those are the only emulators I have tested other than Citra.
Hard to say since the MiG hasn't released to the public yet but it also depends on what you intend to do. If homebrew and themes are all you're looking for then mod your switch. If you're just looking for an easy way to 🏴☠️ the MiG might be what you're looking for. You can 🏴☠️ on both but modding any switch besides an original release V1 switch requires some in depth soldering and is much more involved in general. Hope this helps 👍
With the install of android you can download any regular mobile game streaming apps, and as far as I know, my joycons worked perfectly fine with all of them
"this doesn't even come close to mobile phones" now the reason for that is because it utilises a 9 year old mobile chip made by nvidia and hardware ages like milk

Criminally underrated channel, genuinely thought it had a million subs from production value and editing alone. You earned a like and sub from me
I’ve considered having a modded OLED Switch of my own, I collected several, and a boosted Switch that could push game performance would be amazing.
I loved my OLED. Then I switched to a Lenovo Legion Go...game over.
Really good video, I’m actually in the process of doing my own oled switch but the detail of this video was crazy good 👌
Thanks for this info man, i will now be more active and keep track about this, thanks

As people make a gaming PC at home, can we make a handheld at home too? If it’d be possible, the cost would be less
I can maintain 60fps on my samsung s20fe emulating nintendo switch in 2k. :D

The issue is that Nintendo make a special cpu or apu ho run only Nintendo games
Am playing dying light 1 awesome 😎
Bad news for you bud, apparently the switch 2 is delayed until Q1 of 2025

had one that was jailbroken and sold it I don't need it since I have a Steamdeck I can play almost every Switch game on it
Keep in mind that downloading ROMs is illegal (even if using an emulator isn’t) and you have probably downloaded some games illegally.
@@RevolutionFalls nobody is actually going to dump there own games and use them on a emulator

All of my handhelds are jailbroken. I like to control the hardware that I spent money on.

Ubuntu on the switch can emulate 3DS games pretty well, better than android.

Cool video
Where did you hear the successor will be revealed in a couple of weeks?
it has been everywhere
Prob not in a few weeks, but Switch 2 is 100% for sure releasing this year. Likely in the fall, either September or November.
this is sick

I use chiaki directly on atmosphere for ps5 remote play
Dude try steam deck OLED your that will change thoughts
I want one but honestly if I was gonna get a new handheld I'd get one with more power. I can't wait for steam deck 2, hopefully it'll launch as oled!
The crap are you doing to your Steam Deck that it has that bad of battery life lol
I got my modded oled for 250 so there are ways to get cheaper
i paid 260$ on mine total plus a 256gb micro sd and a screen protector xd
you for a modded oled with a chip in it? from where?
Hope that Mr Nintendo won't come knocking at the doors😂
Where i get this?
on ebay but sadly modded onldswitch are cost like over 300 for a modded version.
Do you really need to actually open up your switch and do anything inside to get your switch OLED to overclock or to get back to factory clock speed?
Do NOT overclock it will mess up ur switch
it needs a modchip to be able to run any homebrew, so yes you need to open it
How do you do this? I have a switch lite tbh I just wanna play fallout series
I don't know if you can mod a Switch Lite, but if you do, go find a RECENT (KEYWORD: RECENT) vid on how to run it

is it possible to jailbreak all switch models?
yes, but it requires specialized tools and involves soldering to grain sized contact points on the motherboard
