I think these two have maybe the healthiest relationship with the game currently out of most content creators. Wanting more but also enjoying what's here sounds so much more reasonable than pretending the game is dying.

@@pozziellen this is true, yeah, but even if savage wasn't out, they'd probably be doing the other extremes, older savages, criterion. Very few people have absolutely nothing they could be doing

I think it’s also what makes the GG guys so fun to watch. They legitimately have a lot of charm when they have their regular one hour chats with each other before the event of the day.

Actually kind of wild seeing Garrett again! I first saw him on The Angry Chicken podcast ages ago when I played Hearthstone back when it first came out. I eventually fell off HS, but now years later I'm neck deep in FFXIV and he shows up again! 😂
Oh Happy, you and Sly always put on such awesome shows every State of the Realm. I swear every single time I ever see Kyle and Garrett interacting with someone in the community it brings such a massive smile to my face and gets me to laugh out loud unironically at the shenanigans that take place in the chats that ensue. F8 Hands is a saying that I’m not going to forget.
Now Sly understands what Garrett has to deal with every time he streams with Kyle. XD Completely off-the-cuff comments like "materia babies" and "F8 hands" *EVEN WITH CONTEXT* break us and Garrett just as much as what was witnessed. XD
I watched most of this live, beautiful episode really wanted to see Garrett and Sly in one room these two would be fast friends in an instant as for the GG approach from what I've seen i think its the healthiest approach to new folks who want to be ff14 creators and it should be dare i say studied instead of suffering the huge drop off that most new streamers or content creators experience this is the right approach to keep a healthy community I wish them continuous success and I thank Happy and Sly for hosting this episode
Happy's HW hate is such hyperbole. I'm sure you might have felt like the game was in a bad state, but it really wasn't based on any metric we have available to us. As far as we know HW was bigger than ARR, just like SB was bigger than HW. The game absolutely was on a growing path.
I guess i got lucky during heavensward. I didnt suck so i farmed thordan. I like all the versions of Diadem. I didnt rush the relic because i was progging savage. Flying mounts were great. I have so much to level and it was a grind. The story was amazing. They improved on the base game. I love heavensward, im sorry 🤷♂️. The only thing i didnt like was waiting for CDs after wipes and oversized maps.
The formula is played out, evolve or die. How often can you add the same content ? At this rate, we would have 5 Versions of the same content by 10.0 fk that who needs 5 different deep dungeons etc. that all play the same.
to you it plays the same but no one really wants to give actual feedback on what this game needs...its a unhealthy obsession with telling us "the devs should already know what we want" and they practically give you what you want....but people are plainly yappers in the end of it all... we dont even know what we would really do if they actually changed their formula especially considering ppl pitched a b**chfit over job changes
@demored3017 ffxi Expansions had 1 core thing, like besieged and assault for toau and added another one ot two things as endgame that Set the tone for every Expansion instead of making 5 Version of sky or dynamis they actually added new things.. its not hard.
@@demored3017 if they cant be creative, recycel and modernise ffxi content. You can turn assault into a better Version of the trash dungeons they add now, make it a matchmaking System and the biggest roadblock assault had in 11 is gone. Besieged would be badass if you add it to the open world and make fates play into it etc. Instesd of adding boring ass fates to the dead overworld.. its not hard to come up with content. They are just stuck with making the same Boss on floaty Plattform 100000 times
@@Horstveratu yet they gave you eureka and ppl bitched, people dont want to spend more than 15 mins in dungeons for another, and you also mentioned deep dungeon...but when we didnt have deep dungeon ppl responded "where is deep dungeon?" your ideas honestly wouldnt work...and at the end of the day most ppl would just tell u to play those games than ffxiv...it feels like you played this game for the exact wrong reasons if im being honest

If they keep adding shit for the ppl that like the shitty dungeons and quests they have now, good for them. i dont need ff14 to fill some void like those Clowns that cry for 6 months about the eyebrows after the graphics Update...I wont resub for this gamedesign anymore, stopped paying them after the shitty Patch.
