Nice video. I just changed the same regulator out about 2 weeks ago on my '06 Combiwagon. Unfortunately, I destroyed the insulation. The window works great again though.
Its also good idea to change the two rollers at same time if you open the door anyway, those two green nylon rollers on the lower rack under the glass...those rollers are typical items to go broke, maybe not in rear but every saab i have owned i had have to change front windows rollers. good thing is that they cost 2 euros, 2 dollars) per piece here in scandinavia
Getting ready to change the regulator on a saab 2007 9-3 but noticed the cable for the lock is melted and cause the auto locking to stop working. I have to manually lock it for it to work. Is there a way to fix that too?
Driving today i heard too much noise from the back, thats strange window is slightly open I dont use rear windows, tried closing it and something broke off in an instant and now the window wont hold itself...
A Saterday is never complete without an Auto Autopsy upload!
Are you also a Saab addict mate;)?

I believe you are referring to the 9-5’s? These don’t have those rollers!

the wire for it is melted? you could probably repair it or get a new one
does the sedan and combi have diffrent regulators? and would a 2003 regulator fit on my 2008
check part numbers on esaabparts. I believe they are all the same

My 2008 93 rear regulator failed today 😢

Interesting grey interior mine is Cream:)
Nice! The gray is a bit dull. I might change it eventually 🤔
What if my windows cant roll down
remove the motor from the regulator and you should be able to manually do it. or power the motor manually to do it
Ahhhh...the cable crunch of Doom, brought to you by GM.
Stupid plastic components in these regulators at the worst spots.

How did u raise the window?
I assume you’re asking how to raise it if the button won’t work? if so, you can pull the panel off, remove the motor, and manually do it
