Agree the problem is not the Nissan vehicles the problem is the mechanic i have learned a lot from this segment , the problem is not diesel engines the issue is your mechanic

one thing to note, diesel engines dont fair to well in town driving or short term driving, this is due to the egr and dpf carbon build up, the only way to overcome the issue to to occasionally drive it on a highway from time to time, otherwise short term drives, idling in traffic and city driving will lead to the dpf and egr clogging as well as an extreme carbon build up in the engine which result in the car loosing power, feeling sluggish, check engines, as well as high fuel consumption and not forgetting over worked turbo's.

I don't fuel from the petrol station just outside where I stay. I realized mostly during the rainy season the petrol is of low quality and brings problems to the engine. It's built from a reclaimed swampy area

It can not run 100% on gas , you will still need petrol to start the car before gas take over.
So what we do ,is we just integrate the gas system in a petrol car
We don't do away with the fuel system.
