Absolutely love the accompanying music you use with your videos, it evokes the feeling of a bygone age lost in time that we can’t partake in today but only view from our modern world and imagine what it must of been like back then. The properties you take us to on your wonderful visits echo with the ghosts of the past you can almost feel their presence, if only we had a time machine 😂
There's SOOOOO many places that aren't on the usual tourist radar that I personally think should be. I understand there's limited time to explore when visiting a country though, there isn't time to see it all :) I'll try and share as much of it as I can on here ❤️ Have a great week ahead!
Another beautiful place. We are so lucky that you bring us along. Thank you. That 1st beach was spectacular & I wanted to play in the water with Heidi.
Kent has an abundance of beautiful places ❤️ I forgot to mention the beach at the beginning, it was Camber Sands and is about 10 minutes drive from Rye which I shared a glimpse of. It's a glorious beach!
Good day to you. The beginning history is a wee bit off. The residence was owned by the Baker family during the Tudor period. You can still see Sir John's coat of arms on the gatehouse. Elizabeth the 1st also has spent time there. Yes, after the family lost the estate (we won't mention why), the property later became a prison. But in the 1750's was not known as the Tudor period. By the date mentioned above your current German Monarch's ancestors were within power.
Watching from western Tennessee in the USA, wanted to compliment you on your lovely videos. I love the way you incorporate history, beautiful locations of lesser known places, and the sharing of your family excursions.
Hello from the English countryside :) Quite a contrast from Tennessee! So pleased you're enjoying the videos I'm sharing, thank you for taking the time to be here with us and watch them ❤️ Happy week ahead!
Beautiful, thank you. Here in British Columbia Canada we are not so lucky to see history as in England. My grandfathers family is from Brighton. Your videos are a blessing. Have a great week. Much appreciated.
So pleased you enjoyed it :) There definitely is an abundance of history here on this little island! It gives me a good deal to share with you all on here ❤️ Brighton is a lovely place, maybe I'll do a video from there one day too. Hope you had a lovely weekend!
Thank you for all your videos. They are peaceful and well done. They are a get away for those of us that live in less beautiful or historic places. / On a more personal note, for those of us that don't have children it is a nice momentary glimpse of the joy they sometimes bring. Thank you.
So pleased you enjoy them and they can bring a little virtual escape to lives :)❤️ Aww, she's honestly such a joy.. It fills my heart up seeing her so happy, running around, barefoot, always laughing.. such a blessing in our lives ❤️ Have a wonderful week ahead!
What a lovely treat! Just perfect while I enjoy my morning tea, here on the other side of the world in California. One day I will visit Sissinghurst, along with my cousins who live in West Sussex. I find your narration so delightful. Cheers!
Ooh that sounds a lovely start to the morning 🥰 I think that's what I need right now, to get the kettle on! Hope you get to visit Sissinghurst one day, it's so much more beautiful than this video snippet portrays. I especially love May-June there!
Thank you! Sissinghurst is my favorite garden ever! And I never made it to Rye; those cobblestone stone streets are great! It has a beachy feel to it; I know it has a smuggler’s history so Rye must be on the water. I have never seen anything as lovely as Sissinghurst although Penshurst was lovely as well. ❤🙋♀️🥰🇺🇸
Such a lovely video the gardens so enchanting the rooms inside the house kept as it was just beautiful wonderful memories 💖👌Heidi loving the surroundings running at the bench around the properties an active fairy Thankyou so much for a delightful visit nice to see you all enchante💖💖😘😘👌👌🌟
The gardens are an absolute dream! I'll have to try and return and do a full tour of them because they really are worth seeing in all their glory ❤️ Aww yes Heidi had a great time too, running around to her hearts content :) Hope you had a great weekend!
New to your channel. Love it! So relaxing. It's a real treat for me to see your choice of locales. Watching from Pennsylvania, USA. By the way, your daughter is so sweet. 😌
Thank you for being here and joining along with our travels 🥰 So many wonderful places here in the UK to explore! Plenty more coming up over the next few weeks too. Happy October!
Loved this one❣️You do such a nice job❣️ Does Heidi ever get bee stings in her feet? I did as a child.😢 I was always barefoot too! I just love seeing the inside of the houses. Thanks❣️
Thank you!! :)❤️ No she's never had one on her feet yet actually, hopefully it stays that way lol. She's always running around barefoot and I hope that doesn't change. She's had one on her hand before when she was climbing up a slide and didn't see it and put her hand straight down on it but that hasn't stopped her trying to stroke and pick up any bee she can :) Glad you enjoy seeing inside these properties too! I love them ❤️
As usual a great video Burt you were having a bit of a bad day historically, Tudors in the 1700's etc, but everyone makes some mistake and I loved video so thanks from Tasmania

There will be lots of Derbyshire coming up this month seeing as it's my home county :) I love it in autumn, it suits it around here!
