- Today we reacted to ‘Venom’ which is a B-side track on Stray Kids’ newest mini album, ODDINARY.
This track is extremely addicting and complex. I really enjoyed listening to it while watching the music video. Stray Kids showed a darker concept, hopefully playing into their never-ending storyline.
I look forward to future releases by them!

Hyunjin's part is addictive, he absolutely owned this concept, his rap flow is so seductive
"pew pew. hey, spider, you got me locked up, hey" that part is FIRE 🔥
Passing through the concept, the MV and the song itself, Venom feels like a title track as much as Maniac, which was the same way I felt with Domino and Thunderous at the previous comeback, so I'm hoping that they promote a little bit of this song too, because it's trully fantastic! Stray Kids are always bringing some new to the table and outdoing themselves, which it's not easy to do these days on kpop. Really proud of these boys and also loving these more dark/thriller vibes that they are bringing with Maniac and this whole album/comeback! Thanks for the reaction, girls

It's like... they are in control of their own suffering. they can perfectly well walk out the door, but they don't even want to anymore. the twisted pain they have gotten so used to, now doesn't feel real AND becomes a high that they can't live without.. what would they do if they left, the poison ha made them so psycho now anyways, that they will voluntarily keep themselves locked up. i think that's why felix is shown controlling the spider. and he doesn't leave when he obviously could. soooo twisted :D ugh these lyrics.
oh your theory makes more sense than mine. Mine was they are the literal suicide squad,1. they keep doing things that could kill them,2. the way han was holding the gun to his head gives me joker vibes, 3. Hyunjin rap talking about him being like Harley, but I like your theory better lol.

We can observe how much SKZ is struggling with fame and the pressure + addiction that they feel by the overwhelming love that they receive. Hyunjin shooting love bullets? Man... Also the scene where Lee Know observes all the other members numb with poison; as per my observation Lee Know is the only one that still keeps his composure somehow, he is less swayed by fame, is trying his best not to believe all the great things that we Stays say that he is. He is probably afraid that it will all be taken away one day, as he came so close to that in the beginning of their career. The way they specify that their "spider" (mental illness?) makes their fingers go numb? Panic attacks, due to the deprivation of oxygen when hyperventilating, can make your fingers/toes/face go numb. I've had it happen before to me, it's not fun. This is especially potent when you remember that Han, who probably had a big hand in writing this, has social anxiety and most likely has experienced panic attacks before. Stray Kids! Building on your thoughts of the toxicity of self and others in the music video they also start engaging to dangerous activities towards each other, the bow and arrow, the swords in the box, the boxing, hitting a grenade with a bat etc. the toxicity never affects just them. It becomes dangerous to everyone around them. THANK YOU A KISS FRM BRAZIL. 💋💋❤👏👏👏
