OMG! I agree so much, the satire of the movie was under-appreciated in that moment but it resonates till this day. And the music is pretty good and perfectly pop
I was 7 years old when I watched this at the show. I'm 27 years old now. And *Josie and the Pussycats* is still my favorite! Twenty years is a long time, ya know?!
I still listen to the songs 20yrs later. Drives my bf crazy but idc lol. I used to read Josie and The Pussycats comics and the movie is still one of my favs.
Josie and the Pussycats is my daughter’s most favorite movie! I showed it to her 2 years ago and that was it! She loves it so much and has watched it about a thousand times! ❤️❤️❤️
My wife and I loved this movie when it first came out and now our two daughters, 21 and 17 love it. Our oldest even had the movie poster and action figures. We watch it at least annually. Thanks for the awesome movie and soundtrack!
I loved this film when it came out twenty years ago and I still rock out to it today in 2021. The ladies were so right, it's messages of friendship and empowerment are still relevant as they were when the movie came out and it's still a message that needs to be reinforced today. Keep on rockn', Pussycats!
My dad just happened to be a dedicated Rosario fan so I grew up with her movies and I thank him so much for that This is my favorite movie. I also love RENT, Clerks II, and MIB2 such and amazing career
I rented Josie as a joke the moment it became available and ended up loving it and did my best to get others to watch it. May sister-in-law took it a step further after I had her watch the movie by walking around with the DVD in her backpack I think this movie could have done so much better in theaters if they didn't use MTV for their marketing only because it was truly anti MTV style of marketing
I absolutely love Rachael Leigh Cook. She's my favorite actress, childhood crush, spirit animal and queen. I've loved her since I seen her in _Carpool._ I loved her in _Carpool, She's All That, Get Carter_ (2000), _Josie and the Pussycats, Antitrust, Texas Rangers, Scorched_ and _Robot Chicken, Perception_ as well as the _Frying Pan_ and _Your Brain on Drug Policy_ PSAs.
She’s about as pretty as anybody in Hollywood. She’s so likable. And she’s a very nice person. She’s got a Facebook page and is very interactive in it.
I still remember watching this movie for the soundtrack (Josie's singing voice is Kay Handley of Letters To Cleo, who I discovered from 10 Things I Hate About You) and just falling in love with everything else about it too.
I absolutely loved this movie when I saw it and it made fun of so much pop music at the time but the acting and the soundtrack are so amazing!, thank you!
I love this movie and I am so glad so happy so amazed to see them together again These kinds of interviews are the reason I want to be an actor They're literal family now omg
OMG this video reunion gives me so much joy!!! I adored this movie when I was a kid! I love these actresses so much! The songs, everything about it! I was obsessed!!! I definitely will be re-watching this on Netflix, I hope these ladies are still making me money off this!!
This movie is incredibly inspirational. I'm a struggling singer songwriter guitarist myself. I keep watching Josie + The pussycats once in a while to keep myself motivated. It's truly a pop punk masterpiece film . I'm so glad many other fans still enjoy it too. It's so timeless .
Went to the avant-premiere on April 9th 2001 in Montreal. Still have fond memories. I am still a fan of Rachael Leigh Cook. Watch so many times that year and no matter the critics, I enjoyed the movie and had fun all around. I did also enjoy Tara and Rosario as well. However, I still thank Rachael for the autograph she sent me after I send a letter of appreciation. Happy 20th anniversary Pussycats and rock on. One of my favorite cult movies :) CJL
One of my all time favourite movies, i grew up watching this movie and would watch it on repeat a lot. The soundtrack is iconic and lots of great belt out meaningful songs too. And one of my favourite lines in the film is "Fancy a mint?" This film cracks me up so much such a brilliant film, I'm glad it was made its such a goood film and for those people who havent watched it they need to its iconic.
It fills me with so much joy that this movie has gained such a cult following in the last twenty years. It's what movies like this (that initially were critical/box office bombs) deserve.
My freaking childhood ❤❤❤ I loved this movie as a kid. Saw it in theaters when it was released and played the soundtrack on my walkman obsessively. I used to sing acapella "Three Small Words" in class even 😂. This film and these three ladies I love you 🎉
So glad to see you all together again. You are indeed some of my very favorite people. I'm off to watch the movie again because I could really use a serious dose of fun tonight.
This movie was literally everything to me as kid. My friends and I dressed up as them for Halloween; my sister and I made countless music videos; made our own band. Punk-rock feminism at its finest.
I have watched this movie too many times... I may be a Josie and the Pussycats stalker... Aah! Aah! Aah!... also Parker is magical as Fiona, and Tara is the perfect Melody🎶
Dad and Mom watched this in the open air theatre in Brome while aircraft flew over them, instantly fell in love with it, and brought the DVD. I watched it many times since. only 19 Years after watching it the first time I realized what Backdoor Lover is _actually_ about. Then, when my dad started rewatching Psych (which I watched many times already, because, duh) and to make it even more fun for him I told him Josie [Rachael] was in there. Didn't believe me. He watched Psych and called me one day: "Abigail?... Really? Abs?" That was the _entire_ call we had that day. (Yes, I also told him Turk from Scrubs is in this movie too) Oh and if Rachael can't rewatch Psych imma get mad because she was mad good in Psych.
Josie and the Pussycats was the first PG-13 movie I ever watched I was 4 when I first saw it on STARZ with my parents and my sisters and I loved every second of it and I’m 14 now and I still love it
Pretend to be Nice is still one of my all time favorite movie soundtracks.

I love that it just three of them because it feel like girl talk and not the typical interview.
Happy 20th anniversary to the cast and crew of _Josie and the Pussycats._ Thank you, Rachael Leigh Cook, Tara Reid and Rosario Dawson.
