I wonder if people can appreciate how insane this standard of variety is. I've been in a 2 Michelin star restaurant and the kitchen was bigger than the sitting area. And the menu was like 1/10 of what we see here. It takes enormous amount of manpower, money and facility space to supply so many different food items in such a high quality.
Well, most of the resorts on Maldives are pretty expensive and the manpower is cheap
That's where the 2500 USD minimum villa price disappear.
Probably not!!! Most are probably rude, hateful and don't have a thankful bone in their body!! Spoilt rich bratty people!!!
Going to the Maldives is on the very top of my bucket list. It looks like heaven. My health is declining, so I probably won't get to visit this lifetime 😔 Perhaps you can write my name in the sand. Have been following your videos for last 2 years and the happiness quotient it offers is paramount. Out of all your videos, I have stayed at Four Season, Sayan, Ubud, Bali & Four Season Jimbaran Bay, Bali and believe me your video covered it more beautifully than I could have experienced when I stayed at those properties.

Yes, when you came back to the resort for dinner that evening, the Asian station was just really nice!!!!!!!Anytime I see sushi and sashimi I get calm to enjoy what I am look at....My heart just goes crazy...Having been to Hong Kong many times, I love many of the Asian selections of great food....So nice...….
Wow!!!!!! Chef Kenii Gyoten's selections are gorgeous and elegant to eat there...The caviar dish looks beautiful!!!!!!!!

You started a great selection phase of the music starting at about 6:10 with the evening food. Those outdoor station chefs men and women looked wonderful in serving the guest...And n the dessert room the chocolate fountain looks nice along with the rest of the dessert...The music selection end there at about 12:13. That was simply a great experience!!!!!!!!! Thank you....
Enjoyed the video but with all that food it made my time on the treadmill a little difficult. LOL!

The food looks simply beautiful....I saw the main course there at 13:14-13:17. That pasta with wild rice and sweet chicken, I guess looked so good!!!!!!!!

Never been to Soneva Fushi, but have been to several other islands in the Maldives. And I have to say that most of them have awesome fine dinning.

This is a wonderful video! I've seen video's from the Maldives, this series of video's are awe inspiring! I do have a question though, in light of all the food out in the open like that, doesn't it attract every bug? Also, does it ever rain there? If not, and no bugs, I'm moving tomorrow! Me too. I was in Montreux, Switzerland on Lake Geneva at the weekend for Freddie’s 75th birthday celebrations! It was amazing (and very, very emotional. It’s a beautiful place!
It's hard to enjoy myself watching this when I know the employees are living in squalor. $6300.00 is average for a year. I'd tip bigtime if I ever get to Maldives! Which is a dream right now. Peace to all my fellow humans!!! xo

We choose the Maldives for our Honeymoon next August, sadly enough, because off a critical illness of my dog we decided to stay closer to home (just in case) so we are going to Hawaii. If you have some tips for Hawaii, please share!

I'm not sure so many younger guests would appreciate all the 'fine dining'. Are there any dinner menus/food more suited to a child's palette? (Apart from desserts, I'm sure they'd have no problem there)

Almost every furniture and plate is made locally - like on the island. That's kinda genious, because it's the cheapest to get while it's an argument to raise guests prices...

It's hard to even imagine how much clean water it takes to prepare such enormous amounts of food for such a small group of people, and then how much clean water it takes to wash these tons of dirty dishes ...

I believe you can select a ‘menu pass’ during reservation where you can choose for breakfast, lunch, dinner or all in one pass, which makes dining free.

I'm still skeptical of their claims about not wasting food or whatever. That's what they claim but the details may prove otherwise. All that cooking takes energy. Throwing food into the ocean is simple recycling/composting but still there is tons of energy wasted in the cooking. Giving the stale food to employees or charities may work somewhat but the food doesn't last long in a tropical environment.
Usually, claims of zero emissions or full recycling or "sustainability" -- are bullshit. But I don't care about the environment. The Earth is far better at recycling everything than we are. It's just a matter of whether they tell the truth or use tricks of language to sell themselves.
No waste is generated, I know what you mean, but for sure a lot of food is thrown away.
I saw the same caption. I had the impression they meant to say that waste is "minimized".
Obviously, they fully grasp that you eat with your eyes first.
