Meiji and Taisho-era Japanese prints are such an interesting art form. Smashing together the medieval and the stylized modern.

The Sino-Japanese Wars. They are, in fact, one of my favorite armed conflicts of the 20th century. I enjoy this channel.

It's so rare for history channels to pronounce Chinese proper nouns correctly in Mandarin as well as, as far as I could tell, Japanese proper nouns. Major, major props.

@@venturatheace1this is a fact so I’m not bias. Korea was losing to Japan until the Ming stepped in and then admiral hi showed up and started to cut off supplies. However the Koreans were losing before the Ming stepped in although after the war the Ming were humiliated partially contributing to the rise of the Qing later.

The information in this video is based on history books written by communists. Many Chinese students studied in Japan in the year after the Sino-Japanese War. Chinese students such as Sun Yat-sen, Chiang Kai-shek, and Luxun studied in Japan. In Korea, political groups fearing Soviet rule called for Japan to annex Korea. The communists who succeeded in the Russian Revolution spread throughout Asia, so Japan had to fight the communists, and Japan, which was defeated, was demonized by the communists. The American Democratic Party was infiltrated by communists, and their influence later spread to the West and continues to this day. In America, communists fabricated anti-Japanese information and promoted communism, but in recent years they seem to have also spread drugs. Taiwan prevented communism from infiltrating, so Japanese soldiers are enshrined there. In recent years in Korea, conservatives who realized they were under the control of communists are in conflict with anti-Japanese communists. In recent years in China, a teacher who pointed out that the Communist Party was using anti-Japanese information to manipulate the people was arrested and committed to a psychiatric hospital.
