In an episode of the Simpsons aired in 1997, Homer Simpson can be heard saying " D'oh! ". Just one year later, legendary singer Frank Sinatra died. Coincidence? I don't think so....
Abdul Rahman actually I don’t like trump and I think he’s one of the worst president the US has ever had, but blaming everything bad that’s ever happened, on the jews - it’s just not right and ignorant
^^ nobody understands that Ebola didn't just turn up, it was always around, wiping out small rural villages in Africa, it just became global after someone turned up in a big city with it
+Antonio Garcia As do I but if I can make one complaint, there is no emotions,I do not expect him to jump up and down with excitement. But it is just so mono tone like listening to someone read a newspaper almost to the point of boredom. The topics are great though, anyway just my opinion.
+Of Sirens Dude, in one of the Simpsons episode, they get out of their car and stepped on dog shit. I tell you, the same happened to me years later. They're damn, good, I tell ya!
-Ebola existed before the outbreak. -Wrecking balls are real things, the song didn't make it up... -Horse meat scandals happened way before the Burger King thing, the Simpsons made a joke based on those. -Trump has been hinting at running for president for decades.
The Simpson also predicted that a new Star Wars and chipmunks movie would come out at the same time. You can see 2 posters with Star Wars and chipmunks on it. Now look... Coincidence?

+benn61 At this time star wars and Alvin and the chipmunks were owned by two different companies why would they both go to the simpsons to get propaganda for two movies that wouldn't even come out until 6 years later. It also wouldn't explain how they predicted to both come out at the same time.
the simpsons showing a wrecking ball in one of their episodes years and years ago has absolutely NOTHING to do with Miley Cyrus singing about wrecking balls as a metaphor.... +Z Tonner and just coz hes on wrecking ball? That means what exactly? That he predicted Miley Cyrus and EVERY OTHER CARTOON EVER might ride a wrecking ball.Goose .
It's even simpler: The Simpsons copied trump after the fact. Had the video author done a basic Google search, he would have discovered that the scene in Trump Tower was NOT from the 2000 episode that predicted Donald Trump would be president. It was from a 2015 webisode made after Trump's announcement and famous elevator ride. Even the animation between the two episodes is clearly different.
It also said that Trump might be elected again in 2020...hope that Every one opens their eyes and see the causes he might bring, we need a better president 2020!!
Maybe they're just a side spread inspiration source, and know the processes that fuels society. And maybe they have so many episodes that it becomes unlikely that they get some things right
true. And the joke there (allthough homer is on a wreckingball) is that he is stuck between a rock and a hardplace (the phrase) with a giant rock on one side and a building with the words "Hard place" on. So this was fail
+Julian Giron But that trump scene was a recent skit about it, wasnt in an old episode its atleast 6 months old and was made after he went down the elevator.
These aren't so much "predictions" as they show Matt Groening is an observant, wise, and creative writer. Many of these can be summed up much like that guest character in South Park - "Simpsons Did It." A show that _successfully_ runs for - what, 26 years now? - is bound to cover just about every conceivable thing. And "Trump for president" has been a running joke since I was a kid, back in the 90s. I don't think many people believed he'd _actually_ run for president, and get this far... Anyway, each of these can be explained as simple and basic coincidences or inspired events: 10. Ebola - This episode aired in 1997, right around the time there was a significant outbreak of Ebola in Gabon (at least 40 died from it, so it caught WHO and CDC attention for sure). 9. New York has always had several iconic buildings - Statue of Liberty, Empire State, and the Twin Towers. Also, $9 for a travel guide was pretty standard price for those days (1997, again). 8. Jace Richdale came up with the grease-stealing idea after reading it in a magazine - the idea wasn't new, to resell grease. Then around 2006 and after, grease was discovered to be an easy substitute in diesel cars. Stealing has been around since man first walked, so naturally, when someone has something you want, you steal it. Nothing new or "predicted" here. 7. Batman and Robin - with the Simpsons becoming the cultural phenomena it was, and with many characters based on Hollywood actors, it wasn't a stretch to reference Simpsons, since they were referencing everything else. Naturally, a director who is a Simpsons fan is going to pay tribute to this. 6. Lemon Tree Theft - Simpsons did it, therefore I am going to do it because... reasons. Really, does this need an explanation? This is a prediction? Sigh. 5. Farmville... you know, as another pointed out, this was clearly inspired by the Harvest Moon series. Simpsons merely made a commentary on the pitiful turn video games were turning toward - a "if you build it they will come" sort of situation - where kids were playing video games just because. 4. Wrecking Ball - Sigh... There's at least 25 songs named "Wrecking Ball" before Cyrus... There's at least 200 songs that have the phrase "wrecking ball" in it, with the theme being about personal destructiveness... c'mon, this is ridiculous. And the Simpsons weren't doing anything relating to songs, just a wrecking ball gag, ala Tom & Jerry, Merry Melodies, etc. It's been around for decades. 3. HMO Foods - Simpsons have had a running joke on the safety of their nuclear power plant almost since the beginning - the three eyed fish, all the safety violations of the plant itself, Homer's stupidity causing chaos... Plus, nuclear radiation has always been a concern with these kinds of power plants, and since Chernobyl, it's been a genuine fear. The fact it's tomatoes is not that surprising - 1968 had a study of tomatoes being subjected to radiation, a 1978 study by Jugrau regarding solar radiation on tomatoes. 2. Horse Meat - sheesh, companies have been sneaking or not telling us about byproducts in foods all over the world for a very long time. Just look into the history of hot dogs, or even read Upton Sinclair's _The Jungle_ for further ideas... this is another example of the Simpsons being a social commentary on the times and past events. 1. No, just plain no, this is not a prediction... Trump announced, back in 2000, a "creation of a presidential exploratory committee on the October 7, 1999 edition of Larry King Live. He was supposed to be the Reform Party rep. He officially withdrew in February 2000. This episode was aired March 2000. So... nice compilation, but your facts are a bit skewed.
***** "Game" me? I'm guessing that was a typo for "take" as that was a wall of text. Anyway, I'm a big Simpsons fan (grew up on them), and I find it amusing when people will cite/reference social commentary as "predictions" for events that happen much later in the future. Matt Groening, James L Brooks, and all the writers who have served during the Simpsons' incredible run-time, are some incredibly talented folk, creating such humor and wit off of content that most similar shows use up in a decade and lose their appeal (Big Bang Theory, I'm looking at you...) So, I watched this video, thinking there would be some cool info about The Simpsons that I've missed in watching them all these years, only to see many of the references aren't so much predictions as influences, or commentary by the writers on events that had been happening back in the 90s. I have a daughter in preschool, so I have a chunk of time free, and I used that time to compile this, largely because I love social commentaries and don't want people being mislead by incomplete info. Each one was as simple as reviewing the Simpsons episode synopsis and cross-checking with info from the era the episode was aired. Most of these stories I was aware of anyway, since I lived during them, but a few I looked up for specifics. I'm also aware dozens of people will look at this and go "Too Long, Didn't Read" (TL/DR) but for the few that do, I hope that it sheds some light on how awesome the Simpsons crew truly are - and of course, how so many people will say "SIMPSONS DID IT!"
+Rex Spaulding I would like to point out that I've been reading this comment section selectively "face palming" at every opportunity, but have refused to get involved. After reading your comment my first thought was "oh how I am so glad research exists, I applaud you sir for everything you do." Thus I feel the need to tell you that I appreciate you for taking the time to compile your thoughts before you typed them out in the comments. You are an amazing human being and I wish you and your daughter the very best.
Scott Maloney Wow, Scott, I am actually honored to receive a reply like that. I have become (unfortunately) too accustomed to negativity in comments (especially TH-cam), so this is not only a "breath of fresh air" type of welcome response, but literally puts a smile on my face. I would like to reflect your comment right back at you: You are quite an amazing person and I would also like to wish you the best! And, I do sincerely wish that more people would read these types of comments and treat each other this way - it's more productive and more beneficial to the growth and success of a public forum. It's okay to disagree, but doing so in a respectful manner goes a long way. Anyway, take care, and thanks again for the kind words!
Didn't even get to the Trump part and this video is cancer. #4 wrecking ball is in the simpson movie (2007), not a 1994 episode. And they had a wrecking ball, they didn't predict a damn thing. Most of these are worded to justify the clickbait
Kagamine Len is life Trump and his crew are already trying to piss off China with stupid tweets and he also arranged a phone call to taiwan when he wasn't given permission for from both America and China so... WW3 or trade wars could be around the corner if he doesn't stfu.
Why not I'm sure they don't do it intentionally and anyway if you watch the film eraser you'll see a scene discussing the railgun. oh yes and this was 30 years before the US military actually built one. In the scene in question the character John Krueger actually says and I quote you're talking about the railgun and the smallest one I've ever seen is mounted on a battleship I'm just around the point home A working prototype for the railgun is mounted on a battleship today. So did the film eraser that predict the invention of the railgun or did they just give the military the idea the fine line
In #4 just because there was a wrecking ball in The Simpsons, doesn't mean they predicted the song In #1 Donald Trump announced he was running for president in 2012, he just didn't do it until 2016
+Thomas Potts No, it wasn't. This was a 2015 promo video for The Simpsons & MSNBC that was released about a week AFTER Trump announced his run for the president. Why do you think it looks so close to his glide down the escalator & using his voice from the run?
The Simpson's have been on for so long and have done so many combinations of ideas that you're easily able draw predictions to things that happened after they aired. Only I don't think you did your homework very well as there are way better episodes you could've went with. More than half were a stretch and making pieces try to fit cohesively.
I said this in my head literallyb 5 seconds before reading this.. This and reading comments while the video is saying too have been going on more frequently
1976 Ebola virus was first discovered in 1976 near theEbola River in what is now the Democratic Republic of Congo. Since then, the virus has been infecting people from time to time, leading to outbreaks in several African countries.
The Simpson has 601 episodes that lasted 28 seasons. Therefore, the amount of topics that this TV show covers is unparallel to others. The Simpsons having only 10 correct predictions for last 30 years indicates that its chances for the right "prophecies" are less than the chances we would get from rolling a dice.
Just because there's a song about a wrecking ball, that's not a prediction lmao, that's like saying they predicted the 2004 hit "Milkshake" because there's an episode where Bart drinks a frosty chocolate milkshake
So they're talking about an episode where Homer predicted Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" in 1994... and showing clips from the 2007 "The Simpsons Movie"...
Where is the video where trump is going down an escalator and someone drops the sign in real life? I think that was the biggest prediction or "coincidence"
How is it a prediction when it happened in real life first? The clip is not from an episode aired in 2000 like some people claim. It is from 2015 AFTER Trump announced his presidency, and AFTER he went down the escalator. Damn people are easily fooled.
Agreed, A Hoel. And ironically, the people who fall for conspiracy theories because they blindly accept what people tell them call the rest of us sheeple.
Hmmmm... That 11 was the twin towers mate... *I can't believe I have to make this edit* what I meant was the twin towers were a part of the imagery for that city for the time, it's like saying the London eye is a zero or the Eiffel tower is an A.
sonic meerkat The odd part isn't the towers, it is the fact that they chose the $9 bus fare. I live in Michigan which isn't all that far from New York, and I can't take a bus from here to New York for $9. Unless the Simpson's live REALLY close, they can't go to New York for such a low price. Putting the 9 right next to the twin towers to make 911 seemed odd to me. Heck, even a Taxi won't take you anywhere for $9....
I guess so, though remember this was quite a while ago so inflation is a huge factor. Nowadays I can get a train ticket for a fiver, would of been a lot less when my perants were children.
+Joanna Medina Multiple things. If you meant what does horse shit mean, it's like bullshit but worse. If you meant why did I think it was horse shit, I thought that just because Homer was hanging from a wrecking ball doesn't mean that The Simpsons predicted the song/ music video.
*The ebola virus* existed before 1997. There were just fewer outbreaks. The *9/11* thing was what we call a "coincidence". The *grease* thing was actually pretty inspired. Same with the lemon thing. The *wreckingball* scene had nothing to do with the song "Wreckingball". Other than featuring a wreckingball. *Trump* The escelator scene was actually after Trump announced running for president again years before the 2016 election. *Trump actually ran for president back in 2000* (the year the other episode was made) The Simpsons was mocking Trump during that run as they did during the 2016 run. Also the economy doing bad during that episode is a contrast to real life. The dollar is stronger under Trump than it was with Obama and doesn't show any sign of slowing due to the Rep's deregulation and cuts. Now can we please stop hailing The Simpsons as this great oracle from the future? It's kinda stupid. They even did an episode on predictions and conspiracy theories.
All Will & Good They just predicted that America will be more indebted when Trump becomes President, which is completely true. America's debts are expected to pass $20 trillion dollars soon enough.
Who's watching this after Trump being selected as President
me
Mehdi Gladkowski me too
only difference is that they predicted Trump would be a bad thing and he will be a good thing for America

I was thinking they gave Trump that idea
+AwesomeRobot15 And actually Trump run for president year 2000 also... That's why they made this.
+AwesomeRobot15 of all people it was zoidberg who got their shit together, gg internet got one uped by the zoid.
+MultiJejje they mixed scenes from an episode from 2015 that copied the trump elevator ride. with the old 2000 episode. It's all b.s
finally, more people need to see this comment
they also predicted VR (3:31) OMG MIND BLOWN
Knowing Trump, he probably got the idea to run for president from a Simpson's episode.
bluedance lilly 😂 wouldn't suprise me.
bluedance lilly 😂😂
wtf
bluedance lilly The episode aired in 2000...yet President Trump has flirted with running a couple of times before that!! Your logic is 💩🤘
for a long time people have been pushing him to run for president way back to the 1980s
Simpsons didn't predict the future, we just copied ideas from the SIMPSONS😂
BET Osama bin laden was watching Simpsons and then thought of 9/11 😂
+Hafiz Ikramah Not everything on the Internet is true, moron. Bush DID NOT do 9/11.
Shamir Khan Thats the same thing I was thinking! 😂
Abe Tuinstra e to get
Shamir Khan lol
Most of these are grasping at straws.
Illuminuti game..to destroy world
I love how the wrecking ball thing is from the Simpsons Movie while the narrator says it's an episode
right??
Not only that but the narrator also got the year wrong. The movie came out in 2007, not 1994.
Yea I remember watching that movie when I was around 5.
The Simpson also predicted that a new Star Wars and chipmunks movie would come out at the same time. You can see 2 posters with Star Wars and chipmunks on it. Now look... Coincidence?
+Perry L maybe the producers of starwars payed the simpsons to include some easter eggs to make us intrested or even get our unconsciousness interested. prepeared for starwars. pleace use logic and develop common sence :(
+Perry L Yes, it's a coincidence.
There was always going to be a new Star Wars
+Nathan Studd George Lucas wanted to stop after Revenge of the Sith! Only Disney, the media, and the public wanted to see episodes 7-9 made.
How the hell is that predicting the future? Like, there's a Family Guy episode that shows a chandelier so does that mean they predicted the future that Sia will sing a song about one that becomes a hit~
Besides that flip was taken partly from the movie
these are all soooooo far fetched
Was it a black chandelier? Cos then it would be a biffy Clyro reference
preach
it predicts miley cyrus' video bc homer wad swinging from the wrecking ball like miley cyrus does
actually ebola was discovered in 1976
got it
amazing inspiring videos gga I remember a Sanford son episode talking about Ebola.
They didn’t say that’s when it was discovered.
Ebola created by CIA
in Uganda.
Leonard Horowitz
amazing inspiring videos gga you mean 'created' not discovered.
easy explanation: simpsons did so much random shit, some things must happen at some point. this is chaos theory mates
hahaha
Yes, chaos theory, not predicting the future.
Simpsons might even be the illuminati, no one knows.
Love your profile pic too 😂
true bro
Something very satanic and evil about the Simpsons
William Valentino Von Haagen No, they warned us when they aired this before it happened.
Why didn't we listened..
William Valentino Von Haagen why it's gotta be done crazy the devil possessed someone😂 the govt plans this stuff
Nah. The scary part is this bit was sarcastic, and we the people made that a reality.
The wreaking ball scene was in the Simpsons movie not an episode also the movie came out in 2007 not 1995 or what ever you said
Exactly!!!!!!!!
+Z Tonner and just coz hes on wrecking ball? That means what exactly? That he predicted Miley Cyrus and EVERY OTHER CARTOON EVER might ride a wrecking ball.Goose .
i know it makes no sense he never even talked about how the simpsons predicted the world cup
+Z Tonner my thoughts the same
+Z Tonner World cup happens every four years, so it's not that hard to predict.

Timmy Turner my very thought. They didn't predict a thing.
That's what I thought!!
The 9/11 thing? The Ebola? Trump winning? Pretty sure trump didn't run because of a simpsons episode
Celeen Atkins bin laden watched Simpsons , cnn started Ebola they watch Simpsons, trump watches Simpsons you're dumb
Timmy Turner hmmm you believe in conspiracy theories but I'm the dumb one? I guess

Wrecking ball: "In an episode-" No, that's the movie. The fact that you don't know The Simpson Movie when you see it is very concerning.
This comment sums up the video pretty nicely.
I was about to comment that
Then I checked the old comments
^^^^^^^^^^^^
+KitteridgeStudios also yes
funny
Maybe the Simpsons paid some people for some of these predictions to happen

Maybe they're just a side spread inspiration source, and know the processes that fuels society. And maybe they have so many episodes that it becomes unlikely that they get some things right
This is such an underated comment
I'm sorry 1994 Wrecking Ball??? This is a scene from the Simpson's Movie from like 2007 I think
it is i wached it the other day
and let's not forget that in the 80s the female rock group Vixen sang a song called wrecking ball. so that theory is totally debunked.

true. And the joke there (allthough homer is on a wreckingball) is that he is stuck between a rock and a hardplace (the phrase) with a giant rock on one side and a building with the words "Hard place" on. So this was fail
Aren't these all coincidences?
yes
+Aderpt Derhp "this might be far fetched but... " exactly
+Bob Bob That's because there is none.
all of them? -.- yaaaa no
+Aderpt Derhp DUHH!!
it's not like Trump ran on the past...
ikr
+Julian Giron But that trump scene was a recent skit about it, wasnt in an old episode its atleast 6 months old and was made after he went down the elevator.
+FrostyTheTwinkie it was still before trump decided to run for president
+Carl Bloke he's always talked about running
***** it still didn't happen until after that episode
There was that time when i accidently shut my doll monkey with a toy gun when i was little , guess i predicted harambes death
Lmao
Just because he's using a wrecking ball, Doesn't mean they PREDICTED the song.
ha I changed this comment so you'll never know why I got all these likes
cri
My twin brother :o
+Bryan De La Fuente I see you everywhere lol
+Bryan De La Fuente I see you everywhere lol
Right
well, turns out the Simpson's are written by time travellers.
MrUnladenswallow one of the writers is the Doctor.
MrUnladenswallow written by illuminati
MrUnladenswallow no because it planned
A lot of these aren't actual predictions, so there is that.
The tv shoe psych predicted ebola outbreak better and Tom Clancy predicted 911attack first.
#4 was from the movie in 2007, not an episode from 1994 lmao
I face palmed so hard like he did not just call the movie and episode😂
Also, is it a weird coincidence that the movie came out 9 years today too? XD
+Ben Crook lol right
Yes
+Ricardo De Gekkie whoever thought of that one probably had brain cancer
so because homer was swinging from a recking ball it predicted a girl singing making a hit song??? wtf
Fk u
+christian colonio He's not wrong.
He didn't include the audio but at that time homer said "i came in like a wrecking ball
And also Miley Cyrus was on top of it, not running into buildings, a woman, nude, and singling. Totally the same.......
XD
These aren't so much "predictions" as they show Matt Groening is an observant, wise, and creative writer.
Many of these can be summed up much like that guest character in South Park - "Simpsons Did It."
A show that _successfully_ runs for - what, 26 years now? - is bound to cover just about every conceivable thing. And "Trump for president" has been a running joke since I was a kid, back in the 90s. I don't think many people believed he'd _actually_ run for president, and get this far...
Anyway, each of these can be explained as simple and basic coincidences or inspired events:
Kk
*****
"Game" me? I'm guessing that was a typo for "take" as that was a wall of text.
Anyway, I'm a big Simpsons fan (grew up on them), and I find it amusing when people will cite/reference social commentary as "predictions" for events that happen much later in the future.
Matt Groening, James L Brooks, and all the writers who have served during the Simpsons' incredible run-time, are some incredibly talented folk, creating such humor and wit off of content that most similar shows use up in a decade and lose their appeal (Big Bang Theory, I'm looking at you...)
So, I watched this video, thinking there would be some cool info about The Simpsons that I've missed in watching them all these years, only to see many of the references aren't so much predictions as influences, or commentary by the writers on events that had been happening back in the 90s.
I'm also aware dozens of people will look at this and go "Too Long, Didn't Read" (TL/DR) but for the few that do, I hope that it sheds some light on how awesome the Simpsons crew truly are - and of course, how so many people will say
"SIMPSONS DID IT!"
Scott Maloney
Wow, Scott, I am actually honored to receive a reply like that. I have become (unfortunately) too accustomed to negativity in comments (especially TH-cam), so this is not only a "breath of fresh air" type of welcome response, but literally puts a smile on my face.
I would like to reflect your comment right back at you:
You are quite an amazing person and I would also like to wish you the best!
And, I do sincerely wish that more people would read these types of comments and treat each other this way - it's more productive and more beneficial to the growth and success of a public forum. It's okay to disagree, but doing so in a respectful manner goes a long way.
Anyway, take care, and thanks again for the kind words!
Good point. But I'm still going to say the writers of Simpson are from the future just cause life needs the mystery.
The Simpsons predicted Sneed's feed and seed while it was still Chuck's
The Simpsons have covered so much material that it's hard for them NOT to get some things right. A blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while.
even a broken clock is right twice in a day
MIS315 Exactly.
Fuck you!
+Torrhen Karstark wtf
Torrhen Karstark Fuck you and your eyebrows.
I'll bet half of the comments are posted today... 😂
You're probably right...
Didn't even get to the Trump part and this video is cancer. #4 wrecking ball is in the simpson movie (2007), not a 1994 episode. And they had a wrecking ball, they didn't predict a damn thing. Most of these are worded to justify the clickbait
haha yes,me too
wrong
the wrecking ball clip is from the movie which came out in 2007. not 1994
IKR!!!
your talking about the Simpsons movie they also made a episode in 1994 that Homer was hit by a recking ball
I'm talking about the clip, they should have put the clip from the episode they are discussing.
+Erin Nierman agreed
+Randal Pryor YOU RIGHT
Since trump won, I'm going to start watching the Simpsons to found out how trump starts WW3
Trump won
You stupid
That's a great idea, maybe there'll be some predictions about Brexit, 'cause i have no idea what we're doing
Florence Winter Clinton is the one who wanted to attack Russia and China (which basically means WW3), not Trump. She's a criminal.
Kagamine Len is life Trump and his crew are already trying to piss off China with stupid tweets and he also arranged a phone call to taiwan when he wasn't given permission for from both America and China so... WW3 or trade wars could be around the corner if he doesn't stfu.
I'd like to think that Trump watched that episode of the Simpson's and was like:
"Damn... that's a good idea..."
Dear Simpsons stop predicting the future thank you..
jimmy perkins time travel confirmed
Ta Cos illuminati confirmed
Why not I'm sure they don't do it intentionally and anyway if you watch the film eraser you'll see a scene discussing the railgun. oh yes and this was 30 years before the US military actually built one. In the scene in question the character John Krueger actually says and I quote you're talking about the railgun and the smallest one I've ever seen is mounted on a battleship I'm just around the point home A working prototype for the railgun is mounted on a battleship today. So did the film eraser that predict the invention of the railgun or did they just give the military the idea the fine line
jimmy perkins theyre not predicting. They already know what will happen because they control the future
jimmy perkins it's the writers fault
In #4 just because there was a wrecking ball in The Simpsons, doesn't mean they predicted the song
In #1 Donald Trump announced he was running for president in 2012, he just didn't do it until 2016
The other ones are good though :D
+Kailas M (Pieman) Nope they all seem to be pretty flawed.
+Thomas Potts Ive seen that one, but I'm talking about the recent one with Trump
+Thomas Potts Oh, i did not know thats
+Thomas Potts No, it wasn't. This was a 2015 promo video for The Simpsons & MSNBC that was released about a week AFTER Trump announced his run for the president. Why do you think it looks so close to his glide down the escalator & using his voice from the run?
Last year my friend contracted a disease of the liver, resulting in jaundice. Her skin went yellow! Coincidence!? Yes, of course.
omg and in one episode of the simpsons there was a brown car and holy shit i knew a guy who owns a brown car!! another fkn simpsons prophecy!!
Forget Nostradamus, we have the The Simpsons!
Gotham Star true
You know that Trump ran in 2000, right?
+Wild Card He ran for president in 2000 also
+Crosswell Lad Thats what Trevor just said.
A Potato No shit,I was repeating it to wild card in an attempt to make him understand
They don't know cause they stupid
how far did he run?
The Simpson's have been on for so long and have done so many combinations of ideas that you're easily able draw predictions to things that happened after they aired. Only I don't think you did your homework very well as there are way better episodes you could've went with. More than half were a stretch and making pieces try to fit cohesively.
Someone stole a lemon tree in 2013? THE SIMPSONS PREDICTED THIS!
This is one of the worst "top 10" videos I've ever seen, and that's saying a lot.
I just want to know how you got those likes so quickly
+SteamShovel Studios Ikr
Thats just 1 of 10 fucking idiot
Simpsons = Illuminati confirmed
100%
Yep
I said this in my head literallyb 5 seconds before reading this.. This and reading comments while the video is saying too have been going on more frequently
yesuesyes
The government = illuminati confirmed
I've never disliked a video before :c
hah, gayy
Good to know?
+Torqus welcome to the real world where sometimes you have to dislike videos
+Dajju Kunrama dont say stupid shit like that wtf
+Torqus Yeah this video is pretty awful. Some of them are cool, but most are stretched just to come up with 10 examples.
1976
Ebola virus was first discovered in 1976 near theEbola River in what is now the Democratic Republic of Congo. Since then, the virus has been infecting people from time to time, leading to outbreaks in several African countries.
HOLY FUCK! In one episode Bart got a cold and would you know it 16 years after hat episode aired I also got a cold!!! HOW DID THEY PREDICT THAT?!?!?
Everyone is coming back here after the results, seriously every single top comment is recent!!
Tanmay Pradhan America is a puppet to the CIA. everything is planned
lol hater
You actually did the same exact thing. lol
+Tina Smith I know
+mio Rivas ;p
Im not actually American so I dont think it matters...right?
The Simpson has 601 episodes that lasted 28 seasons. Therefore, the amount of topics that this TV show covers is unparallel to others. The Simpsons having only 10 correct predictions for last 30 years indicates that its chances for the right "prophecies" are less than the chances we would get from rolling a dice.
Exactly. I'm sure you can find a few in Family Guy.
No, you're confused... Family Guy and South Park are for stupid people. :)
Jacob Ford really southpark is great and takes a brain imo
Jacob Ford no you are confused the Simpsons is for people who don't have brains their viewers are the dumbest people alive
0:46 “allegedly”? Good one.
thedirkadirkajihad1
Hmmmmm
WHO'S HERE ON ELECTION DAY?
Me. 😂 Who's leading the election?
It's possible that trump will win the election
trump is
My Chaotic Life Me
haha meeh
WatchMojo this is not. More like ConspiracyCoincidenceLameVoiceMojo
clever
agreed
+Johan Öberg (Protoman85) this isn't eve WatchMojo tho ....
don't you think I know that? but it seems to want to be like them, and fails
+Johan Öberg (Protoman85) its not like watchmojo is any better
80% of these are really really far fetched especially the nine eleven and the wrecking ball ones
but I admit the Trump one is kinda creepy
Ya
+Leon Lesser Considering this isn't the first time Trump has run, not really
It isn't?
I haven't seen the episode but i looks like Lisa is a canditate just like Hilton is now.
+simon karlsson yes!
Very nice bro
They didn't predict Donald Trump. He's been running for president for over 20 years but he just got famous now....
Exactly
What episode was that
XD none of these were predictions
He has been famous his while life... Before presidency, he built hotels and buulding s all over america, and he owns many large companys.
He cant try to run for president Again when he was already president
How on earth is homer being on a wrecking ball prediction of the Miley Cyrus song
Lol
exactly
Idak
It's not even from an episode it's from the Simpsons movie
it was more of a inspiration lmao
Just because there's a song about a wrecking ball, that's not a prediction lmao, that's like saying they predicted the 2004 hit "Milkshake" because there's an episode where Bart drinks a frosty chocolate milkshake
'this happens when time travelers became animators'
Why do you show the Simpsons movie while talking about a 1994 episode?
Right
Exactly
+spiddyman007 Probably just so he wouldn't have to find a specific 1994 episode it would probably be hell trying to find a specific episode.
+Jd Harper ikr. its not like theres kiss cartoon or anything..
+spiddyman007 Lol yeah that was the first thing i noticed. Uhhh thats the movie not a 1994 episode.
So they're talking about an episode where Homer predicted Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" in 1994... and showing clips from the 2007 "The Simpsons Movie"...
They told me tinfoil for your hair was the best, They know all are futures
+Mr Tinfoil DOOOOSH!!!!!!!!
+Mr Tinfoil big fan. big fan.
HISS HISS HISS
+Mr Tinfoil you trying to make a fashion statement with your picture?
Aluminum foil is better
Where is the video where trump is going down an escalator and someone drops the sign in real life? I think that was the biggest prediction or "coincidence"
th-cam.com/video/5tjPZvxwgEk/w-d-xo.html
Rene M ITS NOT A FREAKIN PREDICTION!!!
The comments under this video make me want to fucking vomit
How is it a prediction when it happened in real life first? The clip is not from an episode aired in 2000 like some people claim. It is from 2015 AFTER Trump announced his presidency, and AFTER he went down the escalator. Damn people are easily fooled.
Agreed, A Hoel. And ironically, the people who fall for conspiracy theories because they blindly accept what people tell them call the rest of us sheeple.
He sees predictions in everything.
So if i kill a rabbit i will have prodicted that a random russian man kills a whole rabbit habitat in a zoo.....
Predicted *
If i bought a game and a youtuber bought the same game, i would have predicted him buying that game.
I know! I mean just because Homer was an idiot and used a wrecking ball, it means they predicted Miley's video and song?
I predict that you are a Russian man
+Vega Mario
Well damn, What a surprise.
Your predictions suck ass.
I'm from the Netherlands 😂
Throw enough darts at a dart board blindfolded and you're sure to get a bullseye here and there
+Chris Kouyoumjan not if the dart board was the size of earth
+yeah ik (R.A.C) That makes absolutely no sense.
+o2Hayden it does make sense you tomato
Meow gr8 b8 m8
+Chris Kouyoumjan More like throwing a bunch of darts and then painting bullseyes around them, almost non of these were actual predictions
So every tv series containing a wreckingball predicted the future?
Not to mention that Wrecking Ball scene is actually from the Simpsons movie in 2007 not 1994
Cecilia Polland that's what I said
I can't believe that one of the coolest shows to sure on TV would actually predict the future!😮
Hmmmm...
That 11 was the twin towers mate...
*I can't believe I have to make this edit* what I meant was the twin towers were a part of the imagery for that city for the time, it's like saying the London eye is a zero or the Eiffel tower is an A.
That was the point, 911 and the twin towers. He was saying that the towers making an 11 was not a coincidence.
But it was...
First off 1 isn't an l plus they were a major part of imagery for that city, even the spider man trailers had them in the background.
sonic meerkat The odd part isn't the towers, it is the fact that they chose the $9 bus fare.
Nowadays I can get a train ticket for a fiver, would of been a lot less when my perants were children.
sonic meerkat Also... that $ can be translated as S 911, as in, September 911....
The wrecking ball one was complete horse shit
What do you mean by the horse shit thing
+Joanna Medina
Multiple things.
If you meant what does horse shit mean, it's like bullshit but worse.
If you meant why did I think it was horse shit, I thought that just because Homer was hanging from a wrecking ball doesn't mean that The Simpsons predicted the song/ music video.
and that scene is from the Simpsons movie and the video said it was made in 1994
AD/DC did the wrecking ball stunt in 1996 before that cunt miley cyrus
*assorted horse
Maybe Trump got the idea of running for President from the Simpsons. Lol!
idk maybe?
+Olivia Kelley lel
+Joe Caruana fr fr
A lot of these "predictions" were ideas for other people to choose to do them or not
+Joe Caruana What if he didn't got the idea of running for President from the Simpsons, instead he got the idea to ruin the economy from the Simpsons!
*Trump*
The escelator scene was actually after Trump announced running for president again years before the 2016 election.
All Will & Good you got everything wrong genius 😂 nice try
All Will & Good They just predicted that America will be more indebted when Trump becomes President, which is completely true. America's debts are expected to pass $20 trillion dollars soon enough.
Trump never ran for president before 2016.
Trump talked about running in 2012 but did not against Obama the debt maker.
All Will & Good wow ur probably not fun at parties
Guys the Simpsons have a cat and I just got a cat, wow the Simpsons have done it again
+TylerPlayz 124 - Minecraft & More! It's a joke, it's means that this video is stupid 😂
