  • Day 1- I took the Hemingway Water Shuttle to Keewaydin. I was on the island roughly 4.5 hours. The tide was getting high but I was still able to find some shells.
    Day 2 Morning- I took a 3 hour (30 min to the island 2 hrs on the island 30 min back) shell tour via Reel Kind to Kice Island. The shuttle left from the Goodland Boat Park.
    Day 2 Evening- There was a negative low tide so we decided to go to Tigertail. Has a long walk but the beach is very nice and one of my a favorites! Had lots of live shells!

    At 10:57 I think that pink mini is a rose murex, very sought after. Nice find.

    Wow! I've got to come down to that area! We usually go to Gulf shore's yearly, but I've never found really great shells like yours! 🙋🏻‍♀️

      Just asked the same question! That would be an amazing find!

    • @JasmineHarris
      @JasmineHarris  ปีที่แล้ว

      It could be albino but to me it wasn’t pure white so I’m not sure. I’m unfamiliar with determining if a shell is albino. That would be really nice. I do know that Kice has a lot of sunbleached shells. I didn’t find a Wentletrap this trip but I find them all the time in north Florida in the Fernandina beach area. Thank you for watching and commenting 🐚

    Any chance the white Florida cone is an albino Florida cone?

    • @JasmineHarris
      @JasmineHarris  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hmm. To me it looks more sun bleached than a pure white color.
