It looks that you are driving your wheelers without blinders. I think that is very good. In my 60 years of driving horses I found that those trained early without blinders get to be the imperturbable ones. In Bavaria , where I am from, and where I worked with horses before I came here ( Northwest MO) we never put blinders on our draft horses, even in the woods when logging and where we often had to pull trees down that were stuck in the tops of other trees. They saw them crashing down without even wincing.

Thank you for your comment. Are you still involved with draft horses? Do you have a Facebook account? I'd like to discuss working horses with you.

@@LoriMalchow No, I do not have a Facebook account, but am still working with two Percherons. My wife and I operate
a little farm , producing organic vegetables and eggs. Discussing working horses is one of my favorite topics. Contact information you can find on our website and there is also a TH-cam video about us.

I thought they did well may have done better if the driver knew what he was doing.

I can't believe, how you can take passengers with you, if it's the first time for three of them....

It's always good to have helpers available, if needed.

Nice work! I'm hooking 2 young teams 4 up next week, both quiet and broke but never driven 4 up. Helps to have them used to their teammates. You have no snow, where are you located? One thing I do is attach an extra hame ring to the very top of the inside hame of each wheel horse to run the leader lines through, not sure it helps but I worry about something happening and a line getting tangled as I have zero assistants. At least it keeps the lines up out of harms way.

Thank you. I am in south west Missouri. I will put rings on for the lines but I am using the lines to help the bay get over touchy ears.

Your bay did a fine job. All your horses did! Bravo.
