not sure why's this in my recommended, but maybe i can help you about 0:57 anxious: other than anksiozan, can also translate to uznemiren or zabrinut (?) so serbian name of that book would be "uznemireni ljudi". however, if we do use english loanwords- i guess it technically could be "ljudi sa anksioznošću", considering the original book name according to google is folk med ångest, which if translated literally translates to "people with anxiety"

For reading and writing Serbian is perhaps the easiest language to learn. For every sound that you can make with your mouth there is one letter, and there are no exceptions, so we don't use double letters like "bOOk", "CHeck", "dOOr" etc. On the other hand our grammar is very complex, especially the correct use of cases. But even if you don't master the grammar we would understand what you are saying. It really depends on how hard you try, I've seen a 19 year old American girl here on TH-cam speaking perfect Serbian in just a year which was very impressive, but she spent that year here in the Balkans. But if you learn Serbian, you would automatically know how to communicate with Croats, Bosnians and Montenegrins, even Slovenians and Macedon would probably be able to understand you
@r4v3n62 I see. Grammar is what I struggle with most so I'll try working on that more. And yes, I've seen that girl too! She inspires me a lot!! Thank you for you reply! 😊
@@luvcupid02 Just learn a little bit every day and don't give up. Five minutes, half an hour, two hours... doesn't matter, Just do it every day. Don't focus too much on grammar and theory. Possibly the best way to learn a language is to try to express your thoughts in that language. Imaginary conversations (or a real chat) is an awesome tool. And in general, the proactive approach. You start with you have something specific you want to say, then you find out how to say it and consult some grammar as a bonus if it's necessary. And you'll speak Serbian in no time. Good luck!
i agree with all the comments. just go try speaking it, even if just a little bit each day. spelling and writing is always second to actually being able to speak, and people don’t care about grammar as long as they hear you trying!! good luck

Do Serbs walk home without shoes? or it doesn't matter?
Walk in home i guess was the question. And the answer is yes, barefoot or some slippers but most deff not the shoes you walk outside with
If they pleased.
