    I have these and have had to get the washer replaced the 1st year. They're good only if you're a couple with no children

    You should run the Clean Washer cycle with the Affresh product a couple/few times per year. It fills to a higher level so the cleaning product can reach the upper area of the tub to handle hard water mineral scale and laundry soils that accumulate at/above the normal water line. The vinegar that you tout doesn't reach there during regular washing cycles.

    G in 8th position on the washer's model number indicates 2017 model-year. C is the color code. 0 (zero) at the end is the engineering revision (0 is original production, no revisions). Serial number C732 is factory production 32nd week of 2017, at Whirlpool C(lyde) OH factory. (Different coding is used for the year in model numbers vs. serial numbers.)

    I have a secondhand Whirlpool Cabrio and yes I found coins in the crevice but I had to take the agitator off to get them out and I found about a cup of sand and mud and hair stuck in the center of the underside of the agitator. You know how you make a whirlpool in water and sand everything heavy settles in the center of the whirlpool and if you don't use the washer for a few days it dries and hardens and over and over and sticks to the agitator if never cleaned. The metal basket sits in a plastic tub that always has some water in it, so mold and stale water is the issue for the cleaner, think legionnaires disease, and clean with bleach or the pushed Affresh product. Trick the machine on the lid lock by unscrewing the tab that locks the lid, and put it in the slot that tells the machine that the lid is closed, and while the lid is open start the machine.

      I suppose taking that part off the bottom and cleaning it out would be a good idea. I will think about that. I wouldn't suggest anyone disable the lock on the lid but that would be the way to do it.

    Hey im about to buy these. Did you not get an agitator? They now have a removable agitator.....on sale for $1098 at Lowes.

      They probably didn't have the agitator option when I got mine. I paid around $500 each for these 4 years ago.

      The removable agitator is VERY bad gunk gets built up in it and there have been reports of it exploding

    I’ve been searching to find out why my washer might not be completely draining. Have you ever had that issue?

    • @michellesfrugallivin
      @michellesfrugallivin  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't ever noticed anything like that. Maybe your drain hose is stopped up or has a pinch in it.
