Finding My Way in Remote Nepal Highlands

- Day 1 still of trekking in the Himalayas on the Langtang trail and I have to decide where I'll spend the cold night. On the way I keep meeting interesting Nepali locals, some already having been drinking throughout the day. Towards the end of the day my body was beginning to feel the weight of the heavy backpack having to carry it up the Nepal mountains making it the hardest day hiking so far. Still decided to explore and cross the destroyed bridge, probably due to earthquakes and river damage.

Love from india 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳❤️❤️🙏🙏💯💯💯💯💯
Great video ❤ from Nepal
I really enjoy your videos. Having travelled in Nepal more than 30 times over the last 35 years I get your point but progress is not only for the the western world. If there was a farmer here in Denmark who wasn't connected to a road they would make a lot of noise, same goes for many of the remote areas in Nepal. Luckily there are and unending number of treks in Nepal that will never be covered or destroyed by roads. By the way, I once followed the honey hunters dangling down on small ropes/ladders on that cliff side - awesome.
watched your video without skip any sec but i have suggestion for you that don't speak hindi words in rural area they don't understand it ..i try to say good words in nepali ..namaste sanchai hunu huncha ..that means are you good ..tapaiko naam k ho ..what is your name ...malai dherai khusi lagyo tapai sanga ..i m haapy with you..these are common words that you can use while travelling ..thank you god bless you enjoy your trip
Heartly Welcome to NEPAL Brother may your journey to Langtang goes smooth and unforgetable.😁🤩

Nepal Himalayas, east-central section and highest part of the Himalayan mountain ranges in south-central Asia, extending some 500 miles (800 km) from the Kali River east to the Tista River.
The range occupies most of Nepal and extends into the Tibet Autonomous Region of China and Sikkim state in India. The Nepal-Tibet border roughly follows the line of the highest part of the range (the Great Himalayas), featuring several of the world’s highest peaks: Everest (29,035 feet [8,850 metres]), Kanchenjunga (28,169 feet [8,586 metres]), Makalu (27,766 feet [8,463 metres]), Dhaulagiri I (26,795 feet [8,167 metres]), Manaslu I (26,781 feet [8,163 metres]), and Annapurna I (26,545 feet [8,091 metres]). These permanently snow-covered mountains overlook huge glaciers. Rivers flow southward through deep ravines that cut through even the highest ridges; thus, the watershed between the Brahmaputra (north) and the Ganges (south) lies in Tibet well north of the greatest peaks.
Annapurna
The Annapurna massif rising above a village in north-central Nepal.
The Great Himalayas form a climatic barrier between the monsoonal (wet-dry) Indian lowland plains and the Tibetan desert high plateau. The barren, uninhabitable highlands also are a major impediment to human travel; the turbulent rivers cannot be navigated, and their steep rocky banks make foot traffic difficult. The few passes are at elevations between 16,000 and 19,000 feet (5,000 and 6,000 metres). In the lower, forested Lesser Himalayas to the south, river valleys permit human habitation, grazing, and limited agriculture at an elevation of about 5,000 feet (1,500 metres).

Great Himalayas
Great Himalayas, highest and northernmost section of the Himalayan mountain ranges. It extends southeastward across northern Pakistan, northern India, and Nepal before trending eastward across Sikkim state (India) and Bhutan and finally turning northeastward across northern Arunachal Pradesh state (India); throughout nearly all of its length it adjoins to the north the southern Tibet Autonomous Region of China. The range’s total length is some 1,400 miles (2,300 km), and it has an average elevation of more than 20,000 feet (6,100 metres). The Great Himalayas contain many of the world’s tallest peaks, including (from west to east) Nanga Parbat, Annapurna, Mount Everest, and Kanchenjunga.thank you for visiting us ❤

😂😂😂
my anxiety peaked while watching you explore the broken bridge. Safe travels brother !! :)
Bro first you must go to "Ooty" called as Queen of hills in "Tamilnadu" State. ❤🎉 🇮🇳
That thorny plant which u said the bees must have used it for making mad honey is actually a wild rasberry plant almost ready to bear fruit..and it is super tasty and sweet. Next time u see it, eat it and u will love it. It will be either orange or almost yellow colour.. nice video brother.. a new subscriber here.. Horald Baldier went the same path last year
And by the way to avoid the road and construction you can trek via Sherpagaon to Rimche - there you also get nice views of Ganesh Himal.
Going to the broken bridge you really let your intrusive thoughts to come out😂
I just love your videos!!❤
