Love this game. There is a lot of room for DLC and expand on the franchise. Glad to see Team17 supporting indie developers and bring these games to light.

A super cool switch life hack when dealing with small text, there is a setting in the options of your actual switch device (not in game menu) that allows you to double tap the home menu to zoom in. It is seriously clutch, I use it in a ton of games all the time 😎 great review!! Cheers 😎

I was able to get this title for free from all my recent purchases from the 3ds eshop since I didnt realize how many points I racked up (trying to get all the games I loved on 3ds before the shop closes next year or sooner... never know with nintendo). After seeing this review I'm even more excited to play it, I was drawn to it so much because of Wytchwood!

The art and world building looks great. I'll add it to wish list and hope for a few patches for movement improvements, and of course the text increase. I am old and play mostly on held hand and readable text is a huge issue for me in a lot of games. If nothing I'd watch a play thru as it looks interesting,
I feel you man, but my old man eyes are the opposite. I'm nearsighted, so handheld is my best way to play with small text. But I usually play on my tv.

There's something about this game I can't put my finger on. On paper I feel like it's not the game for me, yet something about it makes me want to pick it up. Will have to keep an eye on it

This is Elden Ring ported to switch. You have your companions, your spirit summons, charge attacks, throwable crafted items, challenging bosses that are mindlessly easy if you use summons, etc.
Just that they forgot to add in the roll button.
Between this, Weird West, and Disco Elysium, we are hopefully entering a golden age of isometric rpgs.

Looks fun but I’m burnt out of the encumbered system in games (literally stopped me from finishing Skyrim). I don’t mind there being a max limit in my inventory but I find the mini game of managing inventory is archaic in nature and just not that fun. Just my two cents. All good if anyone feels differently. Now excuse me while I go clean my room and do some laundry 🧺 😉 Thanks for your guys’ wonderful reviews , I love your work!

I always loved Grime Dark Fantasy settings. Also, the pop of colours in this game make it visually appealing.
An extra zoom out would be better as I think it's a wee bit to close up or better again be able to move the camera round

Thanks for the review! I don't know if I'll be picking it up day one, but it's certainly something I'll wishlist. I like the visual style and the mechanics and world sound refreshing and engaging.
I'm currently a few hours into Paper Mario: The Origami King after having finished Triangle Strategy and the newest Kirby game. I also just grabbed Dreamscaper on sale last week after wishlist'ing it based on your review, so I'll probably be bouncing between that, Paper Mario, and House of the Dead Remake (the preorder discount for Panzer Dragoon owners was too good) for the time being.
Never hurts to have other cool games waiting in the wings though. My wishlist is turning into a filing cabinet because of you guys' reviews!

I'm so upset about this game because I was really enjoying it. I'm 14 hours into the game and when fast traveling from my home base to the swamp area my game completely froze on the loading screen and it's in the same state every time I try to reload the game now and I can't even play it😔 I contacted Team 17 about this issue and they said they were aware that it was an issue and that they were hoping for a fix soon but had no news whether the developer is going to patch this game or not. I have the Switch version.
I’ve played for a few hours and I would not recommend it right now due to constant crashes and stuttering on the Switch 😮💨. Even loading a save sometimes crashes the game

Very poorly made game, clearly untested with artificial difficulty full of tedious elements existing only to annoy the player and nothing more. I did finish it but i had so little fun. If i turned the time back i wouldn't get it. Very unpleasant experience
