Hi mate another good race looks like better birds starting to shine threw hope some places coming your way they done well with strong head winds your keeping us dangling about first race exciting and don't have pigeon so get the excitement watching yours keep up the good work and well done
man nobody is kept dangling about the first race as much as me haha, i was dying to find out the results and it was disappointing to go home not knowing how you did
@@redstarloft5211 Great. Hope you get them all home. The first race was always going to be all over the place for the babies. ... everything was new to them, being in the basket for longer, splitting from other birds on the way home. etc.
I love seeing tired birds . It means they're racing not just homing . It's banging the protein into them for a couple of days and seeing how they pick up . Your afternoon vid looks like the first birds have picked up well. Nice one . Hope you place.. Enjoying the vids 👍
Wow! Mark 150 miles more than half clocked in, plus the head winds I think you did excellent job. i can't wait to see the next race... We are talking about blue bar white flight I also like the grey or silver they are may favorite.....

@@redstarloft5211 .. I get ya, Mark. But it shouldn't overlap that way with two races in the books and no results available yet.. Somethings rotten in the state of Denmark here. It's a whole week between races with plenty of time to figure it out. Everything is electronic now and should be very fast with results. (Instantly).. Heck, it used to be faster in the old days with Benzing clocks with capsules. We had the results the night of the race after all the members brought there clocks in for checking.. Just sayin'.
How many birds can you enter? Back when I belong to a club you had a 10 bird limit per race. Back in early 70’s. We had to pull the color coded rubber band off after bird enter loft and put it in a stb clock and turn key over. If clock was over 2 seconds off when they open it , your disqualified. I guess that’s old school! Nice loft.
Birds are looking good, especially after a 4hour flight! Nice discipline! Pigeons and F1 two of my favorite sports, unfortunately my club racers and F1 teams are both struggling currently😊😉
@@redstarloft5211 ..yes its certainly been a couple of dry years for the other teams...we are die hard renualt supporters so its been even drier spell for us...at least when it does not go well with F1 we still have the birds to put our hope on😉😂
@@TripleJayII renaults definitely had it rougj but theyre looking much better this year! Hopefully Alonso can do something good next year haha im just sick and tired of mercedes winning, ill take anyone at this point. Thats where the birds come in and help keep my sanity haha
I was driving down 41 this morning to my cottage. I saw a group of maybe 20-25 birds just north of Attica at about 8:45ish. Cant guarantee they were racers, but I kinda thought they were.

Red Star Loft ... 350 very limited young birds can do it , so far out of three 350 mile races For the last three years for the futurity birds none of them made it home unfortunately.
Is it possible to after each race do a video of your first 3 or 5 birds and maybe explain who they are, where they came from and show us who the parents are?
Do you normally feed them by calling them into the loft, they seem hesitant to come in with you there? Maybe do the same thing during the week so they get used to it for race day!!
I always call them in with feed and whistling and some are just more hesitant than others. the first drop did very well, only spent seconds on the roof.
Win lose or draw we have to take chances are your birds get stronger and faster they must train sitting in the loft we’re not making better fliers what’s wrong with liars got to take chances you lose some you win some but the Strong ones will always find a way home the weak onewell oh well
6 or 7 home together in a head wind is great flying ...you have some keen youngsters there. Well done

Times are definitely different haha there is no bird limit in my club. I entered 36

doesn't get better than pigeons and F1 haha as a life long ferrari fan its been very tough for the past decade haha this year especially so
