Hello everyone. I am a new pigeon fancier who started raising and breeding pigeons in summer of 2018. I started by only having pairs of show birds but i quickly changed my focus to racing pigeons and am now working on acquiring and breeding the best birds that i can so that hopefully by the year 2020, i will be able to start racing my birds. My loft is 10 feet by 10 feet and it is roughly 7 and a half feet tall and is split into 2 almost equal sections (racing and breeding). For the time being, i have plenty of room for 12 breeding pairs and i plan on having somewhere around 40 racing birds.

UPDATE: With the coronavirus taking over the world, nobody knows what will happen with this racing season. Right now i have 18 breeding pairs (12 here and 6 at my fathers loft) and it is looking like i will finish the breeding season with roughly 60-65 young birds.
