That was basically my 7th and 8th grades. All the girls with Tiger Beat and the other teen mags debating which one of them they'd marry. However, Paula Abdul was the bomb. One of the few albums of new artists I bought on cassette.
This was so awesome! I'm taking my daughter for her 40th birthday and my 60th birthday to Raleigh next year to see them! So freaking excited!!

In 1991, New Kids on the Block headlined the Super Bowl XXV halftime show, but no one at home saw it live. Instead, ABC aired a special report on the first Gulf War. A tape-delayed version aired later. I was there on the field as a Disney performer.
Seeing this was like a time machine that brought me back to my YM, Bop, and Teen Beat NKOTB poster plastered bedroom. Doing homework while Joey, Jordan, Jonathan, Donnie and Danny serenade me (or so I imagined). 😂

My walls were plastered with NKOTB when I was in Junior High School. I was obsessed with them and I was the odd ball who was in love with Jonathan. Everyone was obsessed with either Jordan or Joey, but not me, it was always Jonathan. You couldn’t even see my wall paper. Lol. I use to buy every teen magazine with them and just put all their pictures and posters on my wall. I had all of their cassette tapes. I also loved Full House, so seeing Kimmie was awesome. Your so lucky. ❤
