I thought Carrie could have done better than Doug. When she married him, she settled. Carrie was good looking, she could've any guy that was ten times better than Doug. He was loyal, I'll give him that, but he was a selfish, lying inconsiderate, big baby and a jerk. The show should have ended with Carrie taking their adopted baby and divorcing Doug. Just like Paul Risner and Helen Hunt's did at the end of Mad About You.
I disliked Richie so much. The show improved so much when they removed that character. While he was there, it felt like the show was about the guys being pigs whenever they were together.
