Gran diferencia. Que vivan ambos Nogales
We were just there last month to interview for Global Entry Pass. We did a few similar walks. Nice little town and apparently very low in crime compared to its Mexican counterpart. Enjoyed the video - thx.
Thanks for the videos. Just curious - Out of all the cities you've been to, what are the top five lively vibrant happening cities? Excluding the big ones NY, Chicago, LA, Vegas etc. More midsize similar to savannah Charleston etc? Thanks. Wishing you much success with the channel.
Hey Vikram - thanks for the kind wishes. Interesting question. Out of the cities I've done walking tours of, I would say: Tucson, AZ - they've done a good job of revitalizing the downtown area Alexandria, VA - Old Town is very cool Tempe, AZ - lots going on St. Augustine, FL Scottsdale, AZ Richmond, VA - I just like the vibe there and all the street art is awesome
I wonder if that old J.C. Penney is still there. I used to have to drive from Phoenix to deliver there. It was right by a walk through border entry. Narrow street and slim pickings for parking

Can you take pictures of the border crossing checkpoint? Or is that not allowed. I can take pictures of the wall right? I know that on N Terrace Avenue there’s a sign on a fence in front of the Dennis DeConcini Port of Entry that says no photography. But it’s on Google Maps Street View. So why are there photos of cars crossing through the border and being inspected, if photography isn’t allowed? I just don’t want to have any problems with police. Any help would be appreciated.
You can take photos of anything in public, including the outside of government buildings/facilities and law enforcement officers. Someone may give you a hard time, but it's not illegal. Yes, you can take pictures of the wall. Out of common courtesy, if someone asks to not be in a video for instance, I'll edit them out, but legally you don't have to. If you can see it with your eye in public, it's not illegal to take photo or video of it.
What’s it like? I’m a remote worker and I just booked a dirt cheap airbnb there for a month next week. I move around to keep living costs low. Not sure what to expect lmao
Hey I’m from Nogales. The stores serve Mexican shoppers and are open while the pedestrian gate is open and it gets busy. That’s 10 am to 7 pm, so the stores close and the street clears out when the gate closes. You can see the Morley gate and one of the officers at 8:30 There’s also a bus that takes shoppers uptown to Walmart and chain clothing stores. Wealthier tourists will cross the car crossing and drive to Tucson or Phoenix for shopping and spas.

PUEBLO FANTASMA LUCE HOY POR 1980- 2000 ERA PURA VIDA
era por la pandemia la soledad. Era muy restringida la entrada a Mexicanos-
It’s a ghost town; so sad. Lived there in the 80s and it was popping then. Great memories.
Thanks for watching!
Great video - as always! :)
Thanks friend! 👍

Es como todos los pueblos fronterizos con México, tienen todos su grado de belleza y su nostalgia.
Too bad there isn’t more people. Noticed a lot of businesses out of business. I would like to come visit 😊

Did my own research..that Melrose store is at the old JC Penney location which closed in about 2011 after opening originally in 1920
Pretty cool!

I found a kind of boring in nogales Arizona a little bit more action in the senora side but you can watch a train every 20 minutes go through downtown
