@@MarshaLove0723 That's a really good idea! If you ever saw me trying to choose which ink to put in a pen next, you'd think I was making a life or death decision. 😰
I bought this ink: hope it works well for me - I bought it as I’d heard good things about Sailor Jentle epinard and was told this is the closest ink to that they make: hope it works well with me:); that looks like a very European EF!:(
Yes, Angus, these Jowo EF nibs are at least 1 nib size larger than their Japanese counterparts and if you get one of the flex nibs it's wetter and may be a bit wider still, which is perfect for me since bouncy fine nibs are my favorite. I wrote with this one quite a bit today and it didn't skip once. I hope you have a good experience with it. 😀
Very attractive pen ... really love the look of that ink! Funny; I have enough ink to last at least five "life times", and not one Sailor in the bunch! Several Sailor pens, but not one sample or bottle of Sailor ink ... go figure. 🤔
Thanks, Dave! I'm surprised to hear that you don't have any Sailor inks, but I really shouldn't be. There are lots of ink makers that I haven't tried yet. Birmingham is one that comes to mind and Parker. So many inks! 😂
1. Why is it always the beautiful inks that misbehave? 2. I don't know if Tokiwa-matsu needs White Lightning or distilled water. I noticed that "clingy inks" is one of the topics being addressed on today's Goulet Q&A and this ink definitely falls into that category so I need to see what Brian has to say about it. If I don't get any pertinent info there I'll go rewatch Inky Rock's video about ink additives. 😀
@@fossilimprint2954 You're welcome! That's why I started making these videos. I usually refer back to them when I'm choosing an ink for a pen (sometimes I don't and I regret it). 😀
I get the 'paralyzed by too many choices'. A friend wrote a shortcut that reads my database for me, so it will pick for me. LOL!

What a cool pen, Cathy! Thank you very much 😊
@@user-gl5ld9vm7i Thank you! I'm really enjoying it. 😀

1. Sailor makes a skippy ink? For shame, for shame!
2. Have you tried White Lightning with it?

Thank you for this review, some ink/pen combinations are just not optimal.
