Beautiful boat exceptionally aesthetic and I love the master cabin. When I buy I am going to lose the flybrigde and sun area on the fore deck, dark wood floor light coloured joinery and a little contrasting vivid colour inside.
Beautiful boat with a surprising appeal. There are a few things that are questionable like the over-the-bow visibility from the lower helm station. It seemed marginal from the video. It would have been nice if during their test they showed and reviewed its ease of docking or lack of ease. Perhaps it was so windy that it would have made it difficult? Why not show it and let the chips fall where they may. I am amazed by how stunning this boat looks while up on plane. In a world packed with super mega spaceship styled yachts this Delta stands out from the crowd.
Planing boats are not for ocean crossings, no matter how big they are or what their range is. They lose stability at hull speed, and if there's rough seas, you cant put the boat on plane.
Very well presented, wonderful boat. The fuel costs must be horrendous. Fist rule of buying a boat....if you cannot afford 10 of them lease baby lease.
It depends where you register and where you buy your fuel. Langkawi Malaysia is tax free to register and buy fuel, from there you can yacht through all of the west coast of thailand, beautiful, and when you are not there, charter it out
The interior looks like the inside of a Winnebago circa 1978 I'd say. How a boat manufacturer could design an interior/exterior totally bereft of a nautical feel is beyond me. If I had the money to buy a boat I WANT TO FEEL LIKE I'M ON A BOAT. I'd rather not feel like I was at the Kitchen Remodeling Dept mock up at Home Depot. But that's just me...........
Does anyone else think the furniture looks like IKEA? I'm sure Swedish furniture can be high end, but the IKEA brand has cheapen that clean Scandinavian look; not sure if I can have friends aboard a $8M yacht and it feels like IKEA even if it's with the finest materials, it still looks like IKEA - Sorry :( otherwise the layout and unique design are awesome.
Weather is a bit miserable... oh perhaps that is how they describe a light chop ;). Perhaps Motor Boat & Yachting do a better job of explaining such things in the magazine printed or digital . I feel their TH-cam videos tend to be more in the league of a sales brochure rather than an in depth, how it looks, how it performs, safety features, how it handles in all weather conditions, what the engine compartment looks like, what fuel and water capacities it has, how power is generated while docked, how it handles in all weather conditions. For example: Triple engine; can the port and starboard engines be separately controlled for docking/un-docking and while doing this is the center engine de-clutched or shutdown and can the vessel run on a one engine configuration as a safety feature return to shore?
It would be nice if that spokesperson could be understood. After playing this video three times, I still don't know how fast the boat was traveling at the moment (approx. 1:24) he announced it's current speed. Can anyone please help me out with this?
It all 'Sounds Loverly', Interesting comment in a supposed boat review, When would any owner really want to push such a boat to 38knts, or could afford to fill it every couple of hours if they did, And why all the orgasmic gushing about 'Yet another Pop up TV', , who really cares and as for the Ipad, well I have shelf full of those things all nothing more than scrap due to battery failures What you do not include is anything useful regarding the boat performance specs, fuel burn figures, docking issues. quite frankly I am surprised you did not brag about the 'Turbo' badge on the arse of the thing, way to go to sell a boat.
Wow, I'm impressed! nice open design, I loved the helm area but did not like how they closed the galley in with the upper cabinets. I've been noticing that hydraulic swim platform on several brands of boats and that's pretty slick, I like that a LOT.
Not much people like the exterior but I love it :)
not many people have taste do they
This thing looks awesome. Like something a bond villain would drive.
€ 5,200 000
I better start bringing lunchboxes to work..
but worth it

Great review and nicely shot.

Agree. The displays look like an afterthought. Horrible.

Very well presented. And a stunning vessel...
I think I'm in love...
Awesome yacht! Just... awesome. Fast and eco friendly ( as much as a 80 ft. diesel yacht can be)
Looks great!
Looks more like a patrol boat than a yacht
Masterpiece. Now if she just had a transatlantic range...

So how does the hull design handle in rough water and or a following sea??
My dream is to be able to own a vessel of this stature.....beautiful....
me to william lets collaborate now lol
williamcrabtree work pays of, and before you know it you have your dream, so good luck!
you better quit smokeing and save up then

Could it cross the Atlantic? Would be nice to know the range at different speeds
A bit disapointed that such a large ship has so small fuel tanks and that it is only CE B, nice looking ship
It's a 78, but the owner insisted on calling it an 88. Lol. pp insecurity???
Is this boat rated to cross oceans?
How about a review of the galley? Will that be on a video soon or magazine?
Full review is in the magazine, out now.
Did you use the Delta 40 as a camera boat?
Cost and is it in Australia.
Whats you final verdict?
+Niklas Johannesson LaBamma2Jail!
Beautiful.

Delta 80 or Delta 88?
rubadubu112 80, the owner requested 88 be displayed. I have a friend that did the same with his 49 and changed it to 50. Lol
It would be nice if that spokesperson could be understood. After playing this video three times, I still don't know how fast the boat was traveling at the moment (approx. 1:24) he announced it's current speed. Can anyone please help me out with this?
+Tom Niessen 25knots....
Cool- tnx.
Cardboard condo interior design.
What's the hurry.? Why travel at such high speed?
Asum
What is "quiet"? Flop-flop-flop during all video through. A piece of thin plastic. God save it from rocks!
I don’t like the front windshield
That way, little mistake in the design, it’s too easy for water to push the glass in to the boat

James Edwards 170liters/h at marching speed. 320liters/hour at max speed. But if you can afford this yacht you wont care about diesel cost.
Hideous box-like hull design, but nice interior.
No charm , no warmth, looks like a cheap student cafeteria!
Beautiful boat. Lousy video.
Very ugly boat for Delta!
9:20 Engines running - no lifejacket and no harness.....very unsafe.
What an ugly boat! I’m sure it’s a quality piece of engineering its styling is for only a few.
Not a big fan of the exterior, too blocky and almost looks like a trawler but by golly that interior is nice
