    I told my family that I am going to buy a Vitamix and all in good fun, they tease me because it is so expensive. I have been showing them your videos and now they are getting excited about making all these different soups. We are all vegetarian and with the closedown for COVID, we have been taking turns cooking. Now they can’t wait to get the Vitamix. I am just watching for a sale. Thanks for your wonderful videos, and you funny sense of humor. From Virginia USA

      So wonderful to hear that you are loving our videos! You will absolutely love owning a Vitamix :) I'm not too sure of any sales that are coming up in the US but keep doing what you're doing and keep those eyes peeled for any sales. Sending a big G'day from Australia!

    Looks like a nice combo. I'll try using veg. broth instead of plain water and the veg stock cube. Thanks!

    How can this soup be raw if it is hot (I presume above 40°) ? 🙂

    • @RawBlendAustralia
      @RawBlendAustralia  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you want it 100% Raw you can just not blend it as long and keep it below 48 degrees. But it's still essentially raw compared to boiling/cooking a soup on the stove at home for hours. We used raw veg and haven't cooked the veg, only heated them up slightly for a few minutes. Thanks for watching :)

    Man, I love the fact that you can leave both the zucchini stem and the garlic skin.

    Delicious! I can’t decide if we should buy a Vitamix or a Thermomix, have you used one of those? Cheers

    • @RawBlendAustralia
      @RawBlendAustralia  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes I have but they are very different units. Thermomix is awesome, I will never knock it. As far as "blenders" go Vitamix is a better blender, it's more powerful, higher RPM and will perform a smoother consistency blend. Thermomix offer a 2 year warranty and Vitamix up to 10 years. Thermomix is basically a blender with a heating element, which enables you to cook/bake different recipes. Vitamix has no heating element and heats using friction heat coming off the blades. With a Vitamix you can only heat whilst on high speed and pureeing perfect for soups, fondues and sauces. If your main goal is to make smoothies, soups, ice creams, nut butters and milks - then Vitamix is the way to go. If you want to do more cooking/complete meals then the Thermomix would be more suited. Happy Blending!

      @@RawBlendAustralia Thank you so much for your very helpful response. Cheers, I think a Vitamix is the one for us.

    Could I make this in a nutribullet?

    • @RawBlendAustralia
      @RawBlendAustralia  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We're not too sure Cereal! It all depends on the model and if they're capable of blending for longer than a minute. Thanks for watching and happy blending!

    • @irenel1119
      @irenel1119 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wouldn't without chopping everything small and pre-cooking it. If you don't have a Vitamix (or other super high power blender) I would just chop the veg, simmer it on the stove, and then blend in a big glass blender or handheld immersion blender. My Nutribullet is ok for some fruit smoothies, but it just wouldn't be good for this as it's written. But if you succeed, please share!
