    Good review guys. I bought this Offtrack suit and did the Balcans + TET with +40ºC days. Well ventilated jacket but the trousers lack ventilation with only a zipper, I wish they had a removable panel like the jacket. The pants fit me strange and the bottom cannot zip up with Sidi Crossfire 3 boots as they are too narrow. This is only with the waterproof liner, if I add the thermal layer I don't know what sort of boot will fit but not very secure thats for sure.
    I have also ridden it in cold and below 8ºC, you start to feel cold. I recomend buying a quality dawn/softshell midlayer jacket and remove the original layers for cold riding.
    Overall, the jacket is a very good product for the price and intended purpose Adventure/trail but feel the pants lack a lot behind and need to up their game.

    Great review, love your channel, keep it up. As far as the suit, especially the jacket I never liked it when manufacturers try to make a jacket with two liners. One for rain and one for cold. Inevitably when you remove both, it will be too loose, especially on the arms to keep the armor in place. Rather have two jackets, one vented the other for cold and rain, even in a long trip. Just my $0.02

      @REVITsport 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Indeed the fit will change and that is why our outfits have many adjustment options to ensure the right fit with our without the liners in place.

    • @mocioclistu
      @mocioclistu 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@REVITsport Sold motorcycle gear for a job for 14years. Including Rev'It. I understand the theory behind the adjustment snaps. In a real world crash it simply does not perform anywhere near as good as a jacket that is designed to be snug in the right places to keep the armor where is needed. For me is something I would not compromise for the sake of convenience. But again, that's just my personal experience/opinion.

    Would be interested to see you guys do a review of stuff from Modeka as a comparison. They have something like the Panamericana, which is comparable in features as well as pricepoint. It seems to be a very little known brand, and very little reviews / info available. Of course it is hard to do a side by side if you want to do a long-term review.
    Keep up the good work!

    I like so many features of Rev it... but will stay with Dainese. Will be so expensive to replace everything.
    I can see in past few weeks that Rev it has good online campaign regarding their adventure products.
    Regards to both of you! 🥇🥇

    My way of riding in temperatures above 36 degrees is to have all vents and everything closed and wet my shirt before putting on the jacket.

    Correction: Rev’It back protectors are not universal, they come in different sizes to match the jacket size.

    • @REVITsport
      @REVITsport 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's true, but they do fit in every jacket we have in our collection. So in that way they are universal.

    i have a urban sand jacket, the 3 layer design is a really bad idea, the rain layer is in between of the thermal and outer shell, so you have to take out everything and redo the inner layer. get a goretex jacket, so you just have one thermal layer to worry about

    I love it. I’m after new jacket and pants. I bought a new r1250gs about 2 months ago and need new gear. The BMW rider gear range is too expensive. I hope the Revit gear is better priced locally here in Australia. Thanks for a good review.

    I've got this jacket (in blue), it's good but I've washed it 2 times during the last 4 months, but you can't get it perfectly clean! It stays dark (dirty?) at some places (you can see were the seems are on the inside).

    Would you pick it over the dainese d explorer 2?
    I have ridden in everything from Revit. But I'm gradually moving away from them it seems. Got a dainese d explorer 2 pants to go with my Revit defender jacket (until that one is retired and replaced with the d explorer from dainese) and with my dainese fighter leather jacket for when it's dry but too cold for jeans.

    • @DriveMagRiders
      @DriveMagRiders  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Peter PB I had the D-Explorer 1 and was very happy with it. It's better than the off-track, but it's much more expensive

    • @REVITsport
      @REVITsport 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Peter can we ask you why you are switching to Dainese? The Explorer 2 outfit is 2x as expensive as the Offtrack so it's a bit like comparing apples to oranges. Our Defender Pro GTX is the outfit you should compare to the Explorer 2.

    Having a removable inner water-proof layer means your outer layer will soak and retain the cold- not good for winter riding.

    You don’t have the gore Tex but honestly ‘pause looking elsewhere Cause a lie is coming ‘ you don’t need it.
    Come on it’s about time to stop pretending. Any gear without goretex membrane is not water proof guaranteed and potentially can leak any moment. Revit has the silly idea to use their membrane even on ridiculous high priced items. Take a look at the expedition boots. How on earth do they justify the price. I have the discovery outdry boots and they have leaks as do the h2o gloves and the revit Jackson hydratex jacket. I love my gear but they shouldn’t call it waterproof. Waterproof membrane is goretex. Period.

    • @DriveMagRiders
      @DriveMagRiders  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      alex leier the gore-tex is waterproof up to a moment. Tried it on several items and after sime hours of rain, the water came in. (Defender Pro gtx, Dainese d-explorer). Talking about the non-laminated gtx. The only really waterproof item is the non-breathable rain jacket.

    • @alexleier
      @alexleier 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      DriveMag Riders hello again.
      All my goretex gear never leaked so far after hours and hours under heavy rain. But anyway I agree that non breathable rain gear which is actually nylon is more waterproof but terrible to wear. And about the boots no they are not goretex you can read it on all presentations. Anyway , wish you safe rides.
