Can someone explain to me in the last question why Sir said Cl shows (-M) also? Doesn't Cl show (+M) and (-I) where (-I) dominates over (+M)? This completely changes the answer for me because Flourine shows (a stronger-I effect) and hence conjugate base should be more stable at the Carbon connected with Flourine 😮
Sir In the Z question of E1CB why doesn't acid base reaction occur with OH while a more acidic H bound as OH is present than a H attached to Carbon? Secondly In the M,N questions the allylic varient of SOX2 reaction is not possible, so does SN2 . BUT is the normal SNi which proceeds through 4 MCTS not possible? In my thoughts, there should be no violation of bredt's rule if simple SNi occurs. Hope you clarify this doubt
