I love your show, Mwaf and Zaq. Research level ya Mwaf ni top-notch. An unsolicited suggestion, mkileta ma-artists, mnaeza eka spotify links zao, mook links e.t.c kwa description tafadhali. Good job, guys.
First Khali song I ever heard was one he did on that Renegade beat. Maahn I could not believe the rhyming skill on that nigga. Been a fan since then. Unfortunately, not so many rappers in Kenya can truly rhyme. Here's my top 10 based purely on rhyming ability; 1. Khali (By far the most consistent) 2. Ben 10 (Who I just realized has been Khali all along 😂😂 - Still worth a spot) 3. Zakah (Mastered the art of rhyme after he got saved) 4. Scar ( I used to think Khali writes for him 😂😂😂) 5. Vigeti 6. Nyashinski (When he decides to rap) 7. Ace Tha Don (mfs sleep on this ninja a lot) 8. Trabolee (Not the most consistent with rhyme, but would kill any ninja on his day) 9. Steph Kapela 10. Xtatic Notables where rappers did a single syllable kwa verse mzima. Comment with more; 1. Chiwawa's verse(Third) on this feature th-cam.com/video/o7Qc58b0Khg/w-d-xo.html 2. This masterpiece by Trabolee th-cam.com/video/-b4VvJxQsUo/w-d-xo.html
In this list, there are only 5 good rappers: Zakah, Jones, Nyash,Scar and Vigeti. Collo, Kitu Sewer, Kamah of K-Shaka, Abbas, Bamboo and Astar are the missing ones here. Hao wengine kwa your list ni nondescript.
Khaligraph Jones is The Best Rapper in Africa by a mile and a half. He understands what Rap is all about and can Rhyme with any kind of beat. He can sing as well which makes him unique. Big Up Mwaff and Myke. Iko Nene
48:55 That Kayvo KayForce part. I think he just stuck to his core hipop. Khaligraph went commercial, hit with some kapuka-ish bangers to win the audience. His earlier collabos with Kristoff, IT, are categorically speaking not hipop. Alot of these hipop artists would have blown had they just lowered their ego & jumped on some commercial tracks. Like Nyashinski once said "ka we ni MC stick to your works, unafaa kuweza kutumia hipop na other tracks"
Mwaf hamkuguzia international collabos from his album, how they came to happen, mambo ya tours, how to create networks ukiwa majuu na other artist and what's the cost of doing audios na videos abroad na lastly upcoming international collabos for the future
Ive basically learned alot from Kali about friendship, Family Relationships Even Ego and i am truthfully appreciate you guys This time I've scaled my self esteem to awhole new level.Mad respect to you guys and Kali for representing low-lives like us and staying true to being himself
Napenda hii Convo . Big up to khaligraph he inspires me a lot . Am at a stage where am building my personality to be a discipline and hard working guy . His album is my text book . Thanks OG

Khali ni artist mdope sana, nafeel kama anafaa ainue some of these dope artists kama mastar vk who's a very dope rapper, maandy, ssaru, buruklyn boyz pia, anaweza kuwa amehelp their careers sana na pia industry ya Kenya..
Hao artist umetaja wanajulikana na ni somehow big in Kenya. They need to poise themselves to push their work outside. Kama kuimba na ngoso kiasi ndio fanbase igrow plus they need to learn money management. Si ati hawapati kitu ni venye wanamove.
@@k3ygvrv Io pidgin is a form of English that's why it's called pidgin English, just like American English and British English. They fuse it with their local language bro ata Kali angekua anaroga na swa solo angehit Kenya solo. You literally need English in your music if you are a rapper. Kiswahili inaappeal tu kwa bongo.
About Khali‘s pen game, I think the criticism guys level against him is usually that mistari zake hazina depth. Kuna mafans tu hupenda ma double and triple entendres in music but with Khali huimba surface level lyrics. I love how Mwaf you brought up Mistaree towards the end and even quoted that bar "Tangu niwe mchanga nilijua niko so ill" because it explains the exact criticism some guys have against Khali. Hananga mistari ka hizo. That above Mistaree line ingekuwa Khali angesema kitu kama "And since I was a kid, I knew I was so dope… (then something something something) and I was headed to the top." But pia people need to understand that rapper si lazima awe tu a Jay-Z typpa rapper where everything they say has double or triple meaning and/or deep references. Some rappers are pure spitters; which is where Khali falls. For what he does, his multi-syllabic rhyme schemes and flow on the mic, Khali’s pen game is definitely not weak or whack. And also when he speaks of improving his pen game since 2018, you’ll notice those are the aspects he has been improving on (as well as his storytelling) not those "mchanga and soil" bars we would rather he spits.
