I tried this braid using strips of suede leather....utter disaster. I very quickly put that project aside, and promptly forgot where I put it. LOL! Thanks for sharing with us.
Oh no! Yes works easier with round cords. Although I have seen some use a flat cord and it does look cool but you have to twist the flat cord around each time so it sits nicely. Maybe practice with the round cords first. Thanks for watching 🌼
@@knotqueen Thanks for the reply. Yeah probably not properly secured, I currently put it under a chair and pin with a clothing pin, but then will try this too and see if it's better to sling with. It LOOKS good at least. 👍

Currently making balearic slings using a flat strand technique... Would this technique hold up for something like that?
