55+ Min Long Range Drone (NEW T-Motor F2203.5)

Testing out the new long range endurance drone. An ultralight 6 inch using the new T-Motor F2203.5 motors.
I designed and built this new ultralight 6 inch (5 inch capable too) race drone to further test the limits of the new motor offering from T-Motor. I feel the slightly larger stator (2203.5) really benefits overall flight characteristics compared to similar mini long range drones in this genre. They seem to favour the 2004 size or equivalent. For users not constrained by 'sub250' then these are a worthy choice.
A lot of people have asked about the frame designs and whether or not they are available. Currently I have only designed and produced these for my own testing but the encouraging feedback has prompted me to make them accessible. Just working on the best way to get these out, that won't be far off.

When I was a teenager looking to make some money, like 8 years ago, I would make custom 18650 battery packs for planes, people would get like 2-3x the flight time they had with lipos, they would come back to me and say - wow I fly one pack and then I have to land, but not because the battery is drained but because I'm bored or my legs hurt lmao

I am really after ultralight and ultra endurance long range quad as I am struggling with my 4" I do not really like anymore as it flies just 7-8mins. Drones You do have much more dense for long range. Please - how to get in touch with You??

@@hakimdurand8427 FPV quads in general or the ultralight ones? My UL builds cost me less than my typical 5 inch race quads. Hardware doesn't need to be as powerful. The BnF mini-long range quads are really well priced I feel.

This frame reminds me of the Eachine Tyro 119 lol. I actually just picked up a Tyro 119 a few weeks ago but haven’t got around to flying it yet. Nice job with this build, 55 mins plus is very impressive.

These motors are literally perfect for me. I love the efficiency on 4s and the zippy 6s power! I will definitely buy a set of these!
You nailed it. The versatility here is what really makes these shine. Sure 40 kph is slow or whatever but not many quad options then allow you to just throw on a small 6S Li-Po and have it become a monster!

must congratulate you for lasting 55 mins flying around in circles at our spectacular "designated drone park" that quad build is something else though, beats my mates 35min 6s 18650 twig by a long shot. well done.
I have some 3506-25 KV 650 for like 8 years now, and they go a long way in every sense.

That's incredible!! I built a 15 minute quad when everyone was amazed with 5 minutes. I never thought I would see an hour, I've never flown long range, I know flying for 15 minutes around the same area seems like forever, but I bet it's fun flying 50 mph for 6 miles like you were flying at the end.
Haha yeah the actual time tests are pretty tedious. You're right though, hauling around at 100kph for even 10 minutes is a serious rush. The DJI 5 inch I have makes this even more fun.

It’s nice to know that quads are catching up to RC planes! I get around the same on a Bixler 2 on 2200 3S.
Gah, we can only dream. Little by little I suppose.
There not catching up they can manoeuvre in ways a plane could only dream of.
You can fly a drone in terrible conditions that would make flying a plane like being on a washing machine with a brick in it.

@@charlesmarseille123 Plenty of flight controllers now support Arduo, you just flash using betaflight in dfu mode, reboot and open up Mission Planner. :-)

XNOVA T2203.5 Toothpick is so far the only T.Mount motor i found in this size. dont know how efficiency is, but i rely most times on the measurement tables from t-motor than every other manufacturer. in the past the t-motor were the efficient ones, not always the most powerful ones.
