Mbbr is submerged attached growth process. The MBBR system consists of an aeration tank (similar to an activated sludge tank) with special plastic carriers that provide a surface where a biofilm can grow.

One tank is C tank and other is N tank, one is used for carbon(BOD) removal and other is used for nitrogen removal. But there are so many combination available, soon upload a full video on this.....
