Atrioc I'm thinking of making a 3rd movie but doing it right... for one of the kills he is going to accidentally step on a muffin before shooting his sniper at a target just for you
If they ever make another hitman movie, I would really like a scene where 47 opens his briefcase and it just show all the stuff in there. And there is one singular blueberry muffin in a ziploc bag labeled 'Colorado' and they DO NOT EXPLAIN IT AT ALL. Or the label reads Atrioc, but that's probably harder to swing.
The problem with making a "good" Hitman movie is that at no point would Agent 47 be in any real danger and his targets would never know they were targets until a chandelier dropped on their heads or a nearby propane tank detonated and killed them. So they have to dumb down Agent 47 so that he's nowhere close to being a silent assassin.
I feel like there are obvious solutions to that. There are too many moments in hitman games where you think you're in the clear and someone a mile away sees you for no reason. Ez plot
Or just make Agent 47 the villain/monster that chases targets and the spectator is on the target's perspective with a few moments that you see from the hitman's perspective.

i think there really only 2 ways to do a proper hitman movie either make him the villain that stalks his target like arni in the terminator or a sort of "heist-style" movie that is all about him planning the perfect kill, while also having to adapt to changes in the enviroment and plans of the target.
I opened this video. No comments, no likes. I took an hour long nap, then commented. Real sigmas know competition drives better products, so i waited for the competition.
I can imagine it as one of those weird documentary movies, where the target is talking to the interviewer, and you see people walking around the bar, and Agent 47 in a waiter uniform, a knife in his hand in the background.
3:42 Why are you laughing? This is exactly how a computer works. A program is always loaded from the disk into physical RAM to be executed. The RAM is still there until sections are deallocated and cleared, or the computer is reset, and then loses everything RAM has.
I feel like a Good Hitman Movie should feel like a horror thriller. The Target is seemingly oblivious to everything happening around them as 47 infiltrates their compound and knocks down their defenses little by little until it finally climaxes with a kill. The later targets would get more paranoid with more guards which would just enable 47 to get even more creative with his disguises and methods. In summary, a GOOD Hitman movie should be shot in a 3rd person perspective of the targets and occasionally switch back to 47 at the beginning of each hit and somewhere in-between.
The unrated version has a bit more nudity and gore, which is always a treat. Also, there's an alternate ending where Nika gets killed in a drive-by shooting. It's pretty epic.
my question is why haven't they cast Hitmans voice actor David Bateson as Hitman yet. He looks enough like him (slightly old now, but he would have been able to play him back in 2007) and he already has the perfect voice
I love this movie, and I get your issues with it, but it's still one of my favorite movies. I believe the intention of the vineyard ad scene is that he bought it/gave her a check to buy it kind of thing. After all, he has all this money that he barely even uses anyway.
I legitimately believe he spends his money on suits, weapons, and Evian. He's like the boring accountant of assassination, who's only redeeming quality is his precise and capable work ethic. He's the one alone at the work party analysing how to assassinate his coworkers in the most efficient way. Why am I rambling?
Regarding the hard drive scene I believe you could still write a script that writes to the RAM and could be executed under certain conditions. Not saying the Movie team actually thought about this but this scenario playing out wouldn't be impossible.
yeah of course, hell the kernel would still be loaded in memory no? so the system would be fine until you tried rebooting, the point was the film showed 47 wiping it physically (ith a magnet?), not scripting it at all
A truly great Hitman movie would ideally need to be a dark comedy rather than a traditional Hollywood action film. It would have to feature multiple locations across the globe, dry but funny character "NPC" conversations, it would parody modern society, contain some easter eggs from the games as a nod to fans, feature Diana as a narrator in parts of the film, have an emotionless Agent 47 who would wear multiple disguises throughout the film but would never look too out of place, when approached or questioned remains calm and simply hints that he is a hitman in some subtle way that it is completely lost on the person or they think he's joking. A couple of examples from the games that would work well in a film (spoilers): the mission where you can adopt the role of an estate agent/realtor and show a target round a house in a nice neighbourhood and Agent 47 just points out all of the potentially lethal opportunities and hazards available in the house like they are reasons why the house is great, or like the the way in another mission he administers a toxic chemical to a target while posing as a medical practitioner and she asks "...that's toxic isn't it? Should I be worried?" and he just replies dryly "I'm not". It would probably be hard to create that in movie format but would be amazing if it worked and would better represent the games. The games are just so good.
I enjoy the original movie since I was a big fan of the games when it came out and I was in my teens so it’s nostalgic. It’s a “shut your brain off and enjoy” kind of movie for me at this point. Plus Olga Kurylenko is hot lol. I don’t care for the newer one though. I wish they would do a movie that actually followed the games more closely. If it was SA the whole way through the movie it’d be kinda boring for a lot of people I think. 47 has to encounter some resistance and struggle at some point where there can be the big action piece and gun fight. If there’s going to be a woman involved then he should just be using her to complete his mission, not a fucking love interest. He was raised to be an assassin. But that movie won’t get made the way we’d all like because the movie executives would assume it doesn’t have mass appeal, not enough action or representation and all that shit that mainstream movies seem to need these days. So they’ll make the 15th Fast and Furious movie instead even though they became a complete parody over a decade ago.
The only way I see a Hitman movie working is having it be from the perspective of the criminal targets with the occasional 47 or side character’s perspective like Diana Burnwood. Kinda like how they did Predator, you know the Hunter is there but you don’t get to see it until the climax where it finally confronts the Target when he’s all alone by himself.
What they should actually be doing is the Hitman character doing research on location, on habits and itenary of the target and then infiltrate to commit the assasination. Basically it would be like preparation for a heist movie but ending with a person accident killed

One thing no Hitman movie will be able to pull off in my opinion is 47s demeanor. No idling animation, completely stiff and stationary. Completely flat delivery of every line, no facial emotion whatsoever other than steely and stoic. Also, a canonical hitman movie would be super boring. Like a live action speedrun for 2 hours. Canonically, 47 is a machine. Never misses, never fails, never seen. Try making a movie of that for 2 hours. No stakes. What makes Hitman a great game is for one, the puzzle aspect that make in game speedruns interesting to watch. It also is the moments of cold badassery mixed with failures, ridiculousness and clown costumes. Stuff that doesn’t ‘make the cut’ of 47s canon completion of the level.
Went to see this movie actually in theaters, love Timothy Olyphant but shame that he got or took some baad offers after Deadwood 😅 Die Hard 4 is one another movie I went to see (back in the day I went like twice a month) which didn't exactly help his career
Tbf in the games there are mission stories that are badass and take away silent assassin. Ik they're not officially canon but similar things are in the games too. Such as the confrontation of all ICA agents in Berlin
Yknow a Hitman comedy action movie where they just make hitman do his job like a speedrunner while everyone else is taking it seriously would be pretty funny
That's pretty much the World of Assassination trilogy. The way 47 outsmarts everyone in some of the strangest ways. The one liners before kills. Some of said kills being hilarious. Even if it's just slamming a guy's head down onto a pen, the timing can be perfect and the way 47 does it with a straight face completely calm. God. So good.
I was rewatching this and thinking how Leon, The Professional, still the best hitman movie. It's sad, because the Hitman videogame series would make an amazing movie or even better as a TV series. Maybe one day... since now we are getting some decent adaptations, like with The Last of Us and Fallout as series and Super Mario Bros and Sonic as movies.
You should watch the bloopers for this film timothy olyphant is brilliant. Plus hes a great hitman. Watched this as a kid and till this day hes agent 47 for me. Also the sword scene could have been a thing they did when kids seeing their all technically brothers from same experiment.
Hitman would work a lot better as a mini-series than a movie since the games are basically 30 minute assassination chunks. They could also lean into the humor of having these lush, vibrant, beautifully realized locations with mass crowds and then have 47 do some ludicrous Final Destination type murder while dressed as an insurance hocking banana. "Excellent work, Agent 47. The target is down and a major human trafficking firm has been heavily disru-, are you dressed as an old woman?" "It was the only way I could ensure the target would eat the muffin." "... Agent 47, we provided a high powered rifle and intel on vantage points with a clear line of sight to the target." "Yes, but why else would ICA make poisoned baked goods if not to use them?"
the katana scene is awesome, but it also literally doesnt make the slightest bit of sense also I cant believe I never noticed the Russian general was dubbed over
I want to point out that in the opening of this Hitman movie they used clips from the opening of the tv show Dark Angel. The first and only time I watched this movie I was disappointed the whole time because of that opening. All the barcodes are on the back of the kids necks not the back of the head.
The dumpest thing is that all the agents dont look the same. They are all clones created from the same mold. 47s name literally comes from him being the 47th clone.
So this movie is filmed in Bulgaria, more specifically the capitol of Sofia and they filmed the protest Infront of the national theatre, when they could've filmed it Infront of literary any main governmental building since they are all in a 5km radius. It's a walking distance away.
Big A is laughing at the slide that says "Discipline" but I used to take Karate and in the dojo they had signs that said "Strength" "Self control" and, you guessed it, "Discipline" No idk what the difference between self control and discipline are...
5:15... it does make sense... you really want to shoot the first shot in that situation? you shoot, others may shoot, who knows if you survive... so instead you are left in a standoff... then again, if you see your enemy and they don't see you then just shoot which the other guys could have done easily
The movie was really cool and entertaining. the entire story of 47 is to vast (as any popular thing line the Witcher, Harry Potter, ect..) and from someone like vin diesel you can only shout out the big effort. Even that 47 as normally no emotion and feeling, the all movie put many part on the imagination of the viewers like finally his just a normal traumatised human with phantom emotion (giving freedom to the girl, probably money or buying the property, maybe the two, protect her from assassin, spear life of innocent as much as possible) For the katana fight scene , it is more badass then a lore thing but we can easly thought that they do that because they are trained with a certains codes and honor code where they have to treat each other with special treatment because they are "perfect" creation of Janus the boss of the ICA the organization of 47
Oh shit this just reminded me I was contacted by interpol in middle school because an adult on xbox that lived in the UK kept flirting and asked me for sexual stuff and I told one of the other guys about it so he contacted the cops.

They might be able to make those cheaply due to recent events... However they will have an ad later saying "have you or a loved one been on a movie set near derailed train cars and toxic smoke and water that has more shimmers than a rainbow? The realization at the end where Vin Diesel was an executive producer was the biggest plot twist, yet entirely obvious in hindsight.

I thought he was good in Die Hard. He's great in the "Justified" show series too - plays a US Marshall with some idgaf Western attitude.
watching movies with atrioc must be so much fun lmao
IT'S ABOUT DRIVE
IT'S ABOUT POWER
WE STAY HUNGRY
WE DEVOUR
PUT IN THE WORK
PUT IN THE HOURS
AND TAKE WHAT'S OURS?
just watch leon the professional, and experience the true hitman movie
Yea bro and the alt-j song Matilda, u have too watch that music vid if you’ve seen Leon, but Kill Bill is the best movie
But did you have fun watching it?
Gonna have to say, "Heck yeah I did!"
whenever Syk1k asks for his gifties send him a brochure for vineyards for sale
God. So good.
wasn't into it until I realized the whole thing is about family
Whoever said "Any grape raisers in chat?" deserves a medal
My problem with this film is that hitman is supposed to have no emotion but in this movie he clearly does
I was rewatching this and thinking how Leon, The Professional, still the best hitman movie.
I love how he changes the titles lmao
And this is the third thumbnail change
Hitman would work a lot better as a mini-series than a movie since the games are basically 30 minute assassination chunks. They could also lean into the humor of having these lush, vibrant, beautifully realized locations with mass crowds and then have 47 do some ludicrous Final Destination type murder while dressed as an insurance hocking banana.
"Excellent work, Agent 47. The target is down and a major human trafficking firm has been heavily disru-, are you dressed as an old woman?"
"It was the only way I could ensure the target would eat the muffin."
"... Agent 47, we provided a high powered rifle and intel on vantage points with a clear line of sight to the target."
"Yes, but why else would ICA make poisoned baked goods if not to use them?"
My boy big A looks like he hit a fat bleezy with those glizzy hands of his before stream. Respect ✊🏽
the katana scene is awesome, but it also literally doesnt make the slightest bit of sense
also I cant believe I never noticed the Russian general was dubbed over
Does anyone know where the VOD for this is please? Thank you
This looks like it was an absolute banger
Vin Diesal when the main character has no family to write about
I want to point out that in the opening of this Hitman movie they used clips from the opening of the tv show Dark Angel. The first and only time I watched this movie I was disappointed the whole time because of that opening. All the barcodes are on the back of the kids necks not the back of the head.
I think the ending was meant to show that he bought her the vineyard.
The train scene....im crying right now
0:21 I know
The dumpest thing is that all the agents dont look the same. They are all clones created from the same mold. 47s name literally comes from him being the 47th clone.
i mean, classic example of yes man signing to direct knowing final cut would be stolen from him
So this movie is filmed in Bulgaria, more specifically the capitol of Sofia and they filmed the protest Infront of the national theatre, when they could've filmed it Infront of literary any main governmental building since they are all in a 5km radius. It's a walking distance away.
Another Agent "Glizzy Hands" 47 Classic!
Big A is laughing at the slide that says "Discipline" but I used to take Karate and in the dojo they had signs that said "Strength" "Self control" and, you guessed it, "Discipline"
No idk what the difference between self control and discipline are...
The best hitman adaptation is called leon the professional
who tf says they own a orchard by saying "i raise grapes" like on can i pet them?
No drive, no power, no hunger, no devour, they didn’t put in the work or hours, the movie couldn’t take what’s ours
well it contained a deed of a vineyard so technicly he bought her a vineyard.... *
5:15... it does make sense... you really want to shoot the first shot in that situation? you shoot, others may shoot, who knows if you survive... so instead you are left in a standoff...
then again, if you see your enemy and they don't see you then just shoot which the other guys could have done easily
What the Timothy Olymphant, I didn't expect that...
How did the train station scene go over your head? 47 was leading the other hit man into a trap.
4:59
I physically facepalmed...
Get Jason stathom to play 47 and give the writers of the games full control over the movie
The movie was really cool and entertaining. the entire story of 47 is to vast (as any popular thing line the Witcher, Harry Potter, ect..) and from someone like vin diesel you can only shout out the big effort. Even that 47 as normally no emotion and feeling, the all movie put many part on the imagination of the viewers like finally his just a normal traumatised human with phantom emotion (giving freedom to the girl, probably money or buying the property, maybe the two, protect her from assassin, spear life of innocent as much as possible)
For the katana fight scene , it is more badass then a lore thing but we can easly thought that they do that because they are trained with a certains codes and honor code where they have to treat each other with special treatment because they are "perfect" creation of Janus the boss of the ICA the organization of 47
The first comment with real knowledge 👍🏼 most don't even know who janus is or the true story of Agent 47.
fork, you didn't show the scene where he busts into the window and the kids are playing hitman
Oh shit this just reminded me I was contacted by interpol in middle school because an adult on xbox that lived in the UK kept flirting and asked me for sexual stuff and I told one of the other guys about it so he contacted the cops.
They took that intro from a series named "the pretender"
2:30 back to paris i guess
5:30 pov someone said knife fight mid
So Agent 47 is a marketer hitman, but does he also have glizzy hands?
The fact that hitman and even the postal games have multiple movies and the metro/fallout games dont. We are getting a stalker movie soon and thats sick asf but like. Metro movie man.
They might be able to make those cheaply due to recent events... However they will have an ad later saying "have you or a loved one been on a movie set near derailed train cars and toxic smoke and water that has more shimmers than a rainbow? If so you might be entitled to compensation, but not from the government or the transport company, the set director"
I’ll make a Hitman movie for you, you just wait. It will be a cinematic masterpiece
I legit love this movie lol
this and The Rundown were my go-to action movies
Ive just started playing Hitman - just put the Enron logo on my fbook and end up here - Hitman - Enron cap - hmm
This twitch chat was watching a different movie
"I can hear nudity"
