This isn't very good, mostly because all we got was Kol saying he couldn't live with himself if he hurt Davina, and then some serious necking...I mean, I like that they're finally being a little more physical and not as chaste as they were in season 2, but that doesn't mean I don't want the deep stuff too! (I actually want it more than all that, tbh...mostly an ILY from Kol at this point, I want that more than just about anything really)
I also wish that
1. People would actually start LISTENING to Kol for once
2. Kol would tell Davina about his blood lust issues so they can work through it together. Him keeping it from her is going to end up driving a wedge between them, because Davina is all about trust and honesty, and up until this point, Kol has pretty much made sure to be both trustworthy and honest with her. To have all that change is going to fucking suck
3. I didn't fully realize until now that part of what makes them so beautiful is that, again, they don't need to overdo the physical side of their relationship on screen to show how they feel about each other. I'd rather them spout off freaking Shakespeare than them being all over each other 24/7
So, the best I could do with this was take Kol's quote and show all the times that he's protected Davina, and I really couldn't find a song I felt was absolutely perfect, but this one is so beautiful, I think it kind of worked?
I'd love to hear what you guys thought about this episode, because I was happy with it, but all the things I've heard about the next episodes are kinda bumming me out tbh
