Hey. He DID get 2 days in jail as a sanction for violating the previous bond. I guess another life will have to be sacrificed to the judicial system before they do something. If Judge Middleton, who I’ve watched and admired for some time, doesn’t stop him beforehand, he will be as guilty as the defendant if the worst happens again. He already shares some responsibility for the life of 10 year old Anthony Jay Miller, although he seems less remorseful than the defendant.
I totally agree with you! Bond revocation should depend on how he tested at the time of the incident, not how he tests now! This is his fourth offense, and he ended a child's life! Lock him up! Too bad if the tests are expensive! Too bad if it's inconvenient with his job! He has broken the law! Jeez, our justice system is so frustrating! Sometimes it seems like everyone bends over backwards too much for these habitual criminals! 😡😡
It has nothing to do with his freedom it has to do with the prosecution will not be able to go to trial in 90 days as required if he is locked up. Some judges ignore the 6th Amendment and due process laws this judge doesn’t. So if they can keep him out on bond it increases the likelihood of conviction.
@@markntexas8265People don’t understand everything involved in these cases. He has a right to a speedy trial just like anyone else in this country. 90 days comes up and he isn’t even charged yet and he would be let out and case dropped.

It irritates me that there's any concern for his ability to keep his job, after he killed a child while its not only his 4th offense, but also high as a kite and on bond.
Tragic yes but how is a fine and giving the court more money going to fix anything? It doesn’t! It’s just like taking a bribe!! Court costs and fees come from our taxes.

That sanction was way way too light. Someone, a ten year old is gone from this world and this jackass doesn’t get it. From the get go he should have been wearing a drug patch or tested everyday. Too expensive? Too bad, the judge admitted that people can’t just quit these addictive substances without help, so put him in treatment and keep testing if he gets out. The idea of him out of jail while a family didn’t have their child at Christmas, infuriating 😢
Is he getting a break on his bond because he takes care of livestock? That’s what it sounds like. I find it hard to believe he is so vital to ANY operation that he can’t be replaced.

Do you not listen to the whole thing. The state will the have to proceed to trial by 90 days and the Judge is doing what is right by keeping him on bond because speedy trial is mainly for jail cases and the Judge suspects that all evidence will not be in by then so he is trying to balance it.

I love Middleton but he is too soft on this one. This guy has no business on our streets. Killed a 10 yr old, 4th as habitual offender, and still using. Cone on Judge. A 10 yr old little boy😢😢😢
He’s a habitual offender for several reasons: his parents didn’t teach him about consequences, when he did get in trouble no one really cared, and he was only spanked like a little bad boy by the courts. Now here we are after he killed an innocent man. Many people failed the man killed.
He was in jail…..which means he didn’t have access. Once released he went right back to catch up. Synonymous or not, there is still a family without their 10 year old. And the judge was handing him the no contest.
@@carriepriegel6477 They are hardly synonymous. Saying they are disregards the hard work people do to get clean. In this case it’s a matter of drug availability. There was no easy access to drugs in jail so one would hardly say she got herself clean. Asked on her attitude she didn’t get herself clean. She simply didn’t have access. When she out of jail she immediately began using again. People who relapse experience a prompt that is often a catalyst. I could be wrong and I don’t pretend to be an expert but I spent 15 years of my life with junkies and that was what I observed. If I’m off base I welcome your insight.
A case like this has to be tough for Judge Middleton, having lost one of the court officers to a drunk driver a couple of months ago. But, it sure is nice to see the prosecutor in the courtroom.
And it cost $45 for testing which would be $135 a week, did I hear right? And your point is what, innocent until proven guilty? How safe is it to speculate the accused spends that much on drugs and alcohol each week, hmm. So the accused should have no consequences? Yes, in my opinion, even in the interim, particularly someone who has shown by their actions, that at best, they have a very very serious out of control addiction and therefore cannot be trusted and at worst they are cruel, callous and cold-blooded. Yes actions and words have consequences. This little 10 year old boy, and all the lives he touched and could have/would have touched, all of those lives are changed forever. At what point does a balance of justice, honor, accountability, responsibility, respectability, dignity, compassion and so much more find itself back into humankind and therefore the courts. 24 hours of jail for using felony applicable drugs, almost immediately upon being released from jail on a case that involves a death, is sadly textbook addict behavior. I’m sure the fact that this person was allowed to walk away with a “toddler tap” on the finger is not in agreement with the desires, opinions, expectations, or beliefs, values and/or ethical standards of the child’s family, friends and many others around world who have lost someone, particularly a child, to an inebriated or impaired or reckless or careless or negligent person. 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Unfortunately someone paid with their life for this person to continue driving w/o insurance or drivers license and using drugs while driving. Nope he should not have bond.
He's got money for bond and fines, but not for driving insurance. So the victims can't be reimbursed for anything. Plus the killer knows THIS judge isn't going to punish him for not paying fines. Yay for murderers in this judge's county!!

Bloody Nora. At the beginning. That Judge really wasn’t on top of the case was he? If this is the standard of judges in the USA, no wonder the system is knackered.
My question is this is the 4th offense and he kills a 10 year old child! Prayers and condolences to the family in the loss of their child. My question is when are lawmakers and the courts going to crackdown on these habitual drunk drivers? Why didn’t he have an interlock system on his vehicle? Of course, there is a way around those options as well. The best way to keep them off the street is to make it mandatory jail time for a 2nd offense or set higher bonds.

@@CatFish107- Too bad if you don’t like her vlog. Who did you vote for?
@@CatFish107- What does her personality have to do with anything? Nothing.
Deborah Davis is the shiznit. She's very smart and you don't want to have her fighting against you
Ice water runs through her veins at such a young age. Very sad indeed 😢
@@dinahbrown902- What? On what do you base your statement?
Jeez - what was this guy NOT taking? He should be locked up for a long time once this case is prosecuted, and his bond should be revoked until then. He should never drive again.
Money talks..
What do you mean? First of all, a positive for meth and “amphetamines” only means he took meth, since it breaks down into “amphetamines” via hepatic metabolization. He was probably using “heroin” which is not real heroin (3,6-diacetylmorphine) anymore, most is fentanyl diluted with cutting agents and morphine. I could name about 60 other things he could’ve been taking. In the grand scheme of things, he could be taking a lot of other stuff.
Disagree with what the juge said. Bond is a right but this guy should definitely get no bond.
Did you actually listen to the judges explanation? If he cancels bond the State has less time to prepare their case.
🤦♂️
The courts get tough on offenders after a loss of life only!☹️
Oh, I saw where they were going back and forth with his charges.. Debbie wanted him revoked because he was already in violation of bond.
This judge has got a whistle stuck in his throat 😂
Bond should have been revoked. Judge Middleton is way too soft.
Do you not listen to the whole thing. The state will the have to proceed to trial by 90 days and the Judge is doing what is right by keeping him on bond because speedy trial is mainly for jail cases and the Judge suspects that all evidence will not be in by then so he is trying to balance it.
@@Daniel.Rodrigo-05Law Yes I did listen to the whole thing. I still think the judge is too soft for not revoking the bond.
@@MrRoadie6. Don’t be too sure. He knows the prosecution can’t put together their case in 90 days which would be good for this guy. Keeping him out on bond lets them nail him harder at trial.
@@MrRoadie6 You are right.
@@ChampippleD I stand by what I said. I wonder if you are adult enough to allow other people to have a different opinion than yourself.
Sounds like he gets 1 day in jail for these additional violations .... even if I'm wrong, the thought, even possibility, makes me physically ill!
Judge Middleton is always to easy on the defendants.
🤦♂️
Thank you #DebbieDavis for keeping the streets much safer ! You are an awesome human !!! 💙✌️ And so isn't Judge Middleton...I love him for his "chill" & truly sincere way he is as a Judge & more importantly a Human. 🤙💙
Geez, originally, the Menendez brothers sat in jail for like 4 years before going to trial. They can't keep this jackal in jail for a few months?
No, they can't. Michigan bail law, prevents defendants from being held without bail with the following exceptions: Capital cases, extreme violent offenders those with a significant likelihood of failing to appear, and those deemed a threat to the public (Those charged with, or who have a history of violent, person to person crimes.)
He accidentally killed someone. The guilt is insane for him. He absolutely is using to try and numb himself out.
What in the hell has happened to our justice system? Is killing a 10 year old boy after getting out on bond for another crime acceptable in the United States? WTF!!!! I raised two boys and a girl and can't believe what this monster did. I would be in prison for the rest of my life if this creep did this to one of my children. The US is a SShithole country and this judge is disgusting.
A child is dead because of this dude, who was already in trouble, and the court is worried about him having to pay $45 for drug tests. Sometimes I really think Judge Middleton is too soft. Love the guy! Just don’t agree with him more and more lately…
Personally, I think that anything being court-ordered should be court (or I guess more accurately, taxpayer) paid.
I don't care what anybody is accused of, staying in line with the Constitution, federal law, state statutes, and state constitutions is still significantly more important to me than your feelings about judge Middleton being too soft
@@joeyyoho3670Yup. Due process is slow and frustrating, but ultimately, it’s what has to be done, or we end up with people in jail who shouldn’t be.
@@joeyyoho3670 Revoking his bond stays entirely in line with the Constitution, federal law and state statutes. Please demonstrate why you don't think so. Middleton is overly soft in this case, period.
I can’t believe they let this guy bond out.
Good grief.. there's not much he didn't test positive for 😲 😡
To the people who run this channel I like how u do things no screaming over the judge wit comments u voice ur opinion in a bubble I really like that
Omg this guy should be in jail for years. I’m 70 fighting to survive on ss, but never drive without insurance and a license.
Judge clearly knows this young man’s family and have been going easy on him
I love Middleton but he is too soft on this one.
How much money has he spent on bond... two 100000? He was lucky enough to be able to pay that to be free and now hes in trouble again? Sheesh
Hesbluck?
Abke?
Sownd?
Wtf?
He didn’t relapse. He started using again!
Using again and Relapsing are synonymous 💁♀️
Every letter S is painful to listen to
Judge, he killed a 10 year old child !
🤦♂️
A child apparently. Someone mentioned that it was a little boy, only 10 years old. Heart breaking.
A license, insurance, and registration have nothing to do with anyone’s driving ability it’s usually due to a thin wallet.
So tired of irresponsible drug/drunk drivers and reckless drivers!!! It needs to stop and these people need to sit in jail Period
This man killed a child and is allowed bond, that is a crime made on the family again.
This is what happens when they go light on these repeat offenders, if he did jail time last time maybe just maybe this child would be alive.😡
This guy needs to be locked away for life. Obv he does not deserve bond given he is a clear danger to everyone in the country.
He's got money for bond and fines, but not for driving insurance. So the victims can't be reimbursed for anything.
Plus the killer knows THIS judge isn't going to punish him for not paying fines. Yay for murderers in this judge's county!!
He freaking killed someone & then drives on probation Disgusting Drunk Drivers ! He needs to be locked up just for his disgusting arrogance. This guy...has no soul. 😏😵💫🤨🥺😬🤏
Wow a murder charge and he is out while the family of the person he killed is having to come up with money for the funeral, have their hearts broken . This is just not right
It’s a homicide charge, not a murder charge. 🤦♂️
This guy had more drugs in his system then the entire 1995 Dallas Cowboys team.... He should not be on bond. He needs to be in jail awaiting his trial and subsequent trip to prison for 20 plus years....With his history he is absolutely a danger to the community.
There seems to be a lot of confusion with this case.
He needs to be locked up!!
Bloody Nora. At the beginning. That Judge really wasn’t on top of the case was he? If this is the standard of judges in the USA, no wonder the system is knackered.
WHY DO WE CARE about his urine tests and drug use?! Lock him tf up!
This Judge is responsible 4 the care of everyone under his Juristiction. Not just the criminal but also the care of every citizen. This Judge failed the citizen under his juristiction.
Killed an innocent year old who gave him the vehicle and LOCK HIM UP!
Now someone baby isn't here. Smh my condolences to the family and friends 🙏🏽
HOW did this man get bond? Is he an entitled rich kid? Hope he gets life. Manager of pig farm, wow sickening. He is not a dairy farmer. Have you been to a pig farm?
HE BELONGS IN JAIL, NOW. COME ON PEOPLE..
Another hand ringing judge, just revoke his bond already! 😡
🤦♂️So revoke his bond and force the State to conduct the trial when it’s highly likely all evidence needed to secure the conviction won’t be available? Good grief!🤦♂️
yeah this guy needs to be locked up for the remainder of his life a little kid lost his life his poor parents this guy was out driving already when he wasn’t suppose to be no insurance so the kids parents can’t even sue the insurance company for all he’s worth and a habitual offender this guy needs to be locked up for the rest of his life and he’s abusing substances this guy is a monster and just doesn’t learn multiple offenses out of multiple states and within in MI so stupid
Let me be the first here to say, "The accused is considered innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law."
Wow at first I thought it was just an accident he had while driving on a suspended. Then it just got so much worse for him. He seems way too young to have already had all these issues and all related to driving. This dudes life is over and he’s only got one person to blame. I truly hope he can accept responsibility and make the proper changes.
Judge Simpson would’ve taken this case more seriously, sigh 😒
🤦♂️
What?
@@covenleaderlyzz🤦♂️
@@covenleaderlyzzExactly what would Judge Simpson have done differently????!!
He would’ve actually put this guy in jail. This judge unfortunately was too soft. Why are you offended?
How do you still walk the streets with all these changes!!!! Someone died!!
Before this all plays out he will jump bail and run. Even though the bond is probably secured by his parent’s home he will beat feet, leaving them with a huge loss. He will rationalize that his parents can afford it, but he can’t. That the charge is bogus because he didn’t mean to hurt anybody.
These losers can’t help themselves.
YAY, Debbie Davis is back :)
An eye for an eye
RIP mate.
Clickbait title
But you can't put a price on a person's life!
I’m sure this is big in the local news, & as the judge said, the process is hotly debated by all concerned.. Thick with ‘Rural America’ dynamics..
Sounds like the judge wants to let him go as usual no justice in all the courts in the USA.
At the time of the accident he was positive for meth, fentanyl, and a couple other drugs… while having 3 previous DUI’s, no insurance, suspended license, and a child died in the accident.. ya he needs life
Bro this judge just loves to hear himself talk. Its annoying
I don’t understand why this judge is saying you could die from Fentanyl..this guy knows that and at this point he killed a child. No discussion needed get his ass to jail..now
The sort of idiot who will drive whether he has a licence or not
