You guys are hilarious when you argue, as brothers should be. Truly an epic day with the moose and the antlers. Those islands made of peat are so fragile: I worry for their futures.
Lmfao Hahahahaha I lol thinking of me and my 3 bothers carrying on. Let’s go to the replay! Brothers being brothers. Get the argument over, and then move on. 30 years ago your mother would say ‘enough,’ and that’d be it. Thanks for sharing this.
Congrats on 100,000 subs Jim. You deserve it. Love your adventures, your humor, and your amazing relationship with your brother. Keep up the great work!
I love that you included your argument with Ted. It's reality. Exhaustion , hunger amd frustration are all a part of the experience but that doesn't make it any less worth the effort of getting out there
Brotherly squabbles, welcome to reality. Well all I can say if you are not squabbling you are bungling! A lot more wildlife on this portion of the trip. The moose in that country would have to be good swimmers to cross the Seal River. Great video, enjoy seeing your adventure. Memories for a life time.
They look like Killdeer Plover eggs to me. Hope Ted has enough putty to keep him afloat a few more days (why not duct tape ?) That caribou scull will look great mounted on the hood of your car....... Another GREAT Baird Bros adventure !!! THNX. guys
Thanks very much for sharing your videos on your trip down the Seal River. As a former bush/float pilot in Northern Manitoba some of the Lakes you've travelled on brought back a lot of great memories for me. The Seal River was always a beautiful river I could look down upon from the air. I always wished I had the opportunity to travel by canoe it's entire length. Perhaps I am living vicariously through your videos. Thank you again for sharing your experiences!!!
Thanks a lot and I wouldn’t doubt you would if you put in half the amount of time I do. A bout three or four episodes from this one to go still and then on to the next things.
@@JimBairdAdventurer Excellent. Best thing about working for yourself is that you can set a pace that fits your lifestyle and nature needs. Safe travels b'y.
Amazing day! Thanks for the eye popping footage of the seals, moose, Northern Lights just all of it Jim! I have 3 older brothers and you guys so remind of them. With deep love come squabbles but also quick repair. You guys rock on!!💙Barret
Just when I think I have seen it all, you show us Peat fields. Then tundra. And you keep it real by posting 2 exhausted brothers bickering about something trivial, like we all do in stressful situations. I thought the Baffin Island trek was your best video but I am thinking this is. Had no idea Manitoba had this geography.
The eggs look like killdeer eggs or from a shore bird of that family. Usually killdeer stay with the eggs screaming their heads off to distract the animal or person in the area. Nice show at the camp fire. Looks like what I went through with my 6 brothers...hahahaha Enjoy the rest of your trip, be safe, N. E. U. S. A.
Classic case of what exhaustion does to people. It's a looong trip too. Excellent skull with antlers though! Hopefully you guys kiss and make up and I look forward to next week!
Hello Jim now that beautiful video watching you guys and see every time the video come different places it's so beautiful I can watch everyday the video what you showing it's awesome thank you and take care
I've thoroughly enjoyed this series the last week. Being laid up I can live vicariously through you and Ted. Thanks for the laughs and keeping me entertained. Hope you guys have a solid winter full of adventure.
Great find with the Dead head and antler shed, great content as always. Appreciated the brotherly fight, my twin brother and I argue all the time but its all love. 🔥 ⛺️
Day 21 and you guys get at each other over the straw that broke the fires back. I had to laugh. My brother and I would of had this kind of blow up on day 1 just unloading our gear to get started. You guys are awesome!
That moose you captured definitely looked like he had never seen a person before, he was really checking you out...like what the hell is that? Pretty cool capture ❤ it's wild how well they seem to be able to swim also
I am absolutely enjoy watching your videos. Arm chair canoeing I would to love to do the Seal but at my age 77 I don't think so. I am so surprised at how big this river SEAL is. Thanks for the videos.
An amazing adventure on its own, but...seals, moose, caribou, wolverines, northern lights, esker hikes, those antlers you found...just so incredible! Really enjoying this series.
Brotherly love, got to love it, I am one of four brothers and I do recall those times and can currently agree with my traveling buddy on our motorcycle trips how that can happen sometimes but we always come full circle and let bygones be bygones, this was a great video with the moose and finding the antlers, this has really been an epic float trip and have really enjoyed tagging along and do look forward to the next, hang in there U2, places like this can bring you back full circle.
What an awesome adventure. Those northern lights were incredible. When i was young my brother and I lived together, worked together plus did trips and hunted together. We used to get in big blow outs because someone breathed in a annoying way haha
@@JimBairdAdventurer Love your vids, and congrats on the 100k subs, hope to see you get millions more! I have a fall camping trip planned in the U.P. of Michigan at Porcupine Mountains State Park . Super stoked about it .
As a mom and grandmother and great-grandmother, and great great grand mother, I wonder how many times I've said " you boys need a bath." ? Now I'm beginning to say " take two while you're at it!" I can't even imagine how bad you guys stink. Don't want to. But sleeping in the same tent!!! Omg! Love the adventure tho. Be safe guys.
I was also wondering if there where times you were pissed off for whatever by each other for this long traveling together. I´am glad you showed that too, guess thats part of the deal. But that should not be the only thing considered here. Great part again, great music, i loved the sights of the greeks with that white spring flowers in the green, that looked amazing. And i always love the campsites with the fires you have. Bless you guys!
I’ve heard of horse whisperer but not trout sniffer! Agree with taking duct tape for temp repairs. Even used a sock once when we holed the flotation chamber. The canoe was forever know as “The Sock” afterword!😂
Such a great series! Honestly your meltdowns at each other is mild and to be expected when you're exhausted and hungry. Not everyone can adventure together as great as you two!
Why are their verbal fights so hilarious?? Crack up every time. This series is amazing. Get to see a part of Canada few even think about let alone travel to.
As much as I love the adventure, wildlife, and incredible footage, I stay for the baked in dry humour: “yeah so hopefully it [the forest fire] doesn’t catch up to us and ya know set us on fire.” In the nonchalant tone. I did a spit-take. Love your channel.
Man, I do not know what I will do when this ends. It has been an epic trip! Maybe you guys should head even further north to the Thlewiaza River. But I think that is an easier trip than this one. 🙂 Maybe Kazan or Burnside, eh?
Go back and watch the Hess River trip, of the “arctic watershed” French River trip, or hell, go watch them on Alone (they kicked ass). There is no shortage of Baird Bros content
@@norco4life518 I also watched Ted’s videos, plus other canoe trippers such as Chris Prouse, Canoe the North, and Explore the Backcountry. Sometimes they canoe rivers that i did when I was much younger.
