I'm a big guy and currently am too big to ride the attractions at Universal. Both of your channels inspired me to get fit so I can enjoy the parks. Thanks buddy!
Devon, it was such a pleasure meeting you today! Thanks for taking the time to talk with me and giving the tips about Cove Cafe for our cruise on the Dream!
Yes! My family and I rode the mummy last summer 5 times in a row with less than 10 min wait each time in the middle of June. Single rider is the way to go for sure!!
Is it just me or is Dev quickly becoming your favourite travel vlogger? The only thing I'd love to see you cover is a Universal guide for those with little ones. We've been a few times but this is our first trip with our 4 year old this coming May and I don't know how we'll work it honestly/what he can ride, childswap, calmer areas for breaks? Xx
Wow, the new camera is working great. You can definitely see the difference in video quality. It is really cool how it follows you and it really looks as if you have someone filming you.
Heya Dev, I wanted to personally thank you for making videos like these. After 10 years of dreaming to come to Orlando I finally took the leap and booked a trip! I will be going this february with my friends. These videos have really helped me prepare for the big trip and make me feel confident that everything will work out haha. So thank you and keep up the amazing work. Cheers from The Netherlands -Evi
I’ve done this a few times with my family. Sometimes we actually ride together. Definitely take advantage of it. Saves so much time. 😊 Thank you and Happy New Year PC Dev!
That new camera leveled up your quality I loved it especially how vibrate the colors are the only thing is I would suggest when you were filming the roller coaster you used the gimbal I would just move it completely like you would use it for a normal camera for certain shots but honestly I’m no photographer and I don’t even know if that would work but good job 👏 love your videos and your new style of videos 🎉
Wow... The video looks extra crispy! Enjoying more Universal content. BTW... TH-cam still does not allow me to receive your notifications. I get an error msg.
DEV - you are the bomb, thank you for doing this vlog. As a travel agent it was super informative and gave me some new tips and tricks that I didn't even know about. Thank you!
Wow Dev what a beautiful day it was for you in this video, I was just in Florida Thanksgiving week, and I tell you its a different experience and feel when the weather is good, never coming to Florida again in the heavy hot months , thanks again for a awesome video, I see the weight change in your face looking good!
Dev this video had a lot of great info. The single rider cue(line) is a great idea. Your lunch looked good. I have to try it on my next visit. Great tips my friend. Oh and make sure Bianca gets some of that Keylime pie. Be blessed my friend.
As a solo traveler, I love that they have single rider lines. I was just there in December and most things (besides Hagrid's) were a walk on. Sometimes Hagrid's takes longer in single rider though. With as much as you go to the parks, I'm surprised you don't take a reusable bottle or Freestyle cup to use for free water out of the machines instead of buying a bottle.
Trust me I’m going to start bringing my own reusable water bottle because prices are so expensive. I just don’t like carrying things around the park because I’m already holding the camera.
Dev, typically, how bad are the crowd levels at Universal Studios after the kids go back to school for the new school year (Aug./Sep.)? We usually do Orlando in May or early June. But I think I may change that up this year and come later. I've never been to Universal.
I'm bringing a group of nine guys from MN/ND for a bachelor party, six haven't been to universal before. We have to go May 23rd 2024. We are not staying at any universal hotel. Could we make it through both parks in one day without the express pass, using single rider lines that time of year?
Please do a challenge video riding all of these single rider option rides!! Compare the single rider wait time to the posted attraction wait time. Also, kong has a single rider line that splits off through the standard wait line. I've done it before, I don't know if it's always open though.
Hi dev, loving the new camera and thinking of getting one for our visit in 2025, are u able to add content about the NEW | IBCCES Individual Accessibility Card (IAC) Now Required for theme parks in it next video at universal/ island of adventure?
Great video Dev. Im coming over from London from 29th April to 18th May…in your experience what sort of crowd levels should I expect at Disney & Universal? I’m hopeful it’ll be pretty low considering I’m a weeks after Easter and a few weeks before Summer vacations start.
I noticed you posted in 4k, you usually post in 1080p. Did you compress this video? What did you do to compress? Or did you just post the video as is? Wanted to know this feedback as I’m a content creator as well. Thanks!
can you please let me know what Universal going to do about the smell from water treatment with the new expansion location universal off of sandlike rd.?
Can you please do an update video on the passes, especially season passes, with the different tiers? I am booking soon and confused on what is best for us. Thank you
Love love loving all your new videos Dev 😃 Would love to know if Universal does a pass similar to Disneys DAS pass and help for eating with allergies at Universal please
Last time I went was November 2023, and Skull Island Kong did have single rider that is found as you go more into the stand-by queue, and they split up the lines.
Do you know at Disney and at Universal? Can you pack your own lunch and bring it into the parks or do you have to eat their food? How does people with disabilities ride rides at Universal and at Disney? Is there a special wheelchair line or or etc.
Hi pc dev when r u going back to Disneyland because this may 24 fantasmic coming back and they r replacing pirates of the Caribbean for Peter Pan and they r celebrating Pixar fest
I'd like to add a side note. Single rider does tend to make wait times a lot shorter, but there are times where you can wait as long as the estimated wait time. For example, this week I went through single rider for Hagrids Motorbike Adventure and paid attention to a few people that was getting in standby at the same time. I was able to spot one of them actually getting on to the ride before I got on. Just to give an FYI, there are times that it won't be faster, but it won't stop me from trying.
Haven't rode Hagrids or Velocicoaster yet and can't wait to but every ride when I went single riders line it was almost immediate walk on and main line was 45 - 60 minutes. I could ride the ride 5x by the time the people in main line got just 1.
@@someoneout-there2165 I'm not bashing single rider, I go through it all the time. I'm just wanting people to know that direct walk on isn't always possible because there will be times where you can have the same wait time as standby. Had it happen just this week on Hagrids and I've had it happen in Disney in the past.
Unless it changed. Last time we went we rented an ECV, my hubby has MS, and they gave us a free cut the lines pass. Not free park passes just the express part.
I once used the single rider line on velocicoaster. Apparently, a large group of people on the single rider line were trying to ride together. I kept hearing repeated announcements about the single rider line not being an express lane and that parties will be separated. They held up the s.r.l. for about 2 hours and it felt as if we were being put on time-out. I saw people from the regular line who got on around the same time I took the s.r.l. pass by me and then some. 9 out of 10 times, the s.r.l. works great, but be warned lol.
Yeah I’ve been in that situation also and it’s not cool. I feel like Universal has done a better job with letting guest know that you will be separating.
Since we will be there the 4-8 of February I’m hoping crowds will be light enough we won’t need express pass. Single rider is definitely a great hack especially since there are only 2 of us.
Next time you cover the single rider lines you could go through them so we could see the wait time savings (or not) vs the posted wait. I would never do single rider on Gringotts. Your wait could easily be longer. Not Universal, but you are right. Cars and Test Track are the best single rider lines because the cars are 3 across. Everett normally great for single rider, Aerosmith is not. I haven't done many single rider lines at Universal, so curious which are best for single riders and which not so much.
It's a shame that so many large groups started packing SR for Hagrid's Velocicoaster. They end up pushing the waits up and in most cases, it'll be longer than standby. It's still definitely an A+ use for literally every other attraction in the park though, even Hulk.
I ride singer rider because I’m one of the only people who ride in my group but I do when families cheat the single rider line in a family of 5+ because it makes the lines just as worst😖
I'm a big guy and currently am too big to ride the attractions at Universal. Both of your channels inspired me to get fit so I can enjoy the parks. Thanks buddy!
I'm A Big Guy Too And The Only Ride I Can't Ride Is Gringotts
Best of luck in your journey to get fit! Hope you get there so you can enjoy the parks 💪
Awesome Rob 👏👏👏
That’s awesome Rob! You’ve got this, I hope you achieve this goal! I’ll be there first week of August, I’d love to share a ride along with you!
You got this man! I’m proud of you.
8:57 you haven’t completed your day at a universal/disney park if you haven’t overheard another family arguing with each other lol
I'm sooo here for all the Universal content!! 🎉 I can't wait to go back!! Next, please do a breakdown of hotels/perks for the park as well!! 😊
Devon, it was such a pleasure meeting you today! Thanks for taking the time to talk with me and giving the tips about Cove Cafe for our cruise on the Dream!
The picture is so crisp and clear. I feel like I’m actually there! It seems like a great investment for the channel!
Love the Universal content!
Absolutely love this video it made my day! It feels like a classic PCDev video keep it up man
Loved this video and the POV used in the walk throughout the parks! Love your Universal context!!

I love the audio on this, there's something very relaxing about the balance compared to past videos. 😊

Wonderful vlog!! Amazing clarity on the video quality! 🙌🏼

I really appreciate this comment. That’s so exciting that you booked the big trip. You will have a blast! February is a great time to visit.
You'll love it! Mardi Gras is so fun at the parks!
@@amandaburgess7603 Thank you! I am so curious about Mardi Gras, we don't have that here in Europe so very excited about that!!
@@AwkwardTurtle10 make sure you catch the parade and catch the beads. Lots of food booths from all over the world too.

Happy Wednesday! Good strategy to save time and more fun. Beautiful day at University Orlando 🎪🎡🎢enjoy and be safe!🎠🎡Thanks for sharing! ❤

Yup Dev I think doing these Universal videos were a great idea. Really enjoyed it.

Camera looks great. What settings are you currently using to achieve this look?

I love this channel so much
Single rider lines at Universal are a godsend. Something I wish that WDW would implement more of especially with the E-Ticket attractions
By the way we love the video from your new camera
