It's ironic you posted this video today. I've been playing MW Monk on Retail for a while now, which has been a blast don't get me wrong. But I've been watching a ton of Classic Era content lately too. Last night I finally logged in to my level 30 rogue on Whitemane that had been collecting dust for over a year. Right when I logged in there was this crazy World PvP showdown going on in Hillsbrad right outside the inn. Like 5v5 people around my same level just duking it out over the quest objectives lol. So much freaking fun man. I love how the open world feels so lively and you really feel a sense of community. Not something you see quite as much on retail. Having a blast. Thanks for getting me back into it!!! :D

I started playing Vanilla servers and it's honestly the best decision I've ever made. I've been having so much fun, I haven't had this much fun in WoW in years. There's TONS and TONS of new players coming in too. The starter zones are packed 24/7 with new characters being made. & there's also a huge hardcore scene for the people that like playing hardcore WoW.
I’m here because I’m on the fence between starting WoW classic or retail my first time and I think Retail has better graphics but the overall experience and enjoyment factor of classic is better. I’m so pleased to see that they found a way to combine the servers to keep the population adequate.
The cool thing about Whitemane is there are are enough players out there just doing leveling, dungeons and other world stuff you can have a classic experience ignoring the GDKP spam.
After dinged 60 usually I went straight to all BGs. I can't commit to the raid schedule, and I don't really like GDKPs (it's my personal taste only, though). For me, AV is my 40-man raid. AB & WSG are my 10-man raid 😂. Actually, I've met you several times in BGs Morph.
nice man! Yeah battle grounds are lot of fun and if you grind them out and rank for some of the PvP gear that can really off set your gear and you don't have to raid. Just a side note if you do some simple raids like onyxia each week it is super fast and the money from that can pay for consumes
EU servers are so full!! There are literally all types of guilds and raids and over 9 ABs this weekend. World pvp is awesome in STV, Silithus. Started 3 months ago and never going back to retail.
Totally agree with all what you said, classic era is indeed the best version of wow that you dont even have to buy (just basic subscription). For me also the biggest reason to play Era instead of SoD is that all of your progress won't be wasted like on seasonal servers when all the phases are done. Long live classic era!
ugh this makes me wanna get back on classic :( i transfered all my toons to TBC and beyond tho. starting fresh sounds really fun. I just have a feeling some type of C+ or something will be announced as soon as i hit 60 lol

Hey morphious I love your content. I want to start classic era too but i don't know what class to play (i will play alliance). I like to be mobile and have a lot of utility. I would love ret but i dont think ret is strong isnt it? Maybe rogue or hunter?
hmmm idk man it's really personal preference. Ret isn't strong in PvE it but can be strong in PvP with the right gear. But it just really depends on what you like man. Lot's of fun classes out there. I am bias bc I main druid is druid certainly is the most mobile class in the game and has lots of utility :)
while i agree whorehartedly to ur view of gdkp i feel like it caters to only people who either have money or gear. new players are kinda cut off but i guess thats not the focus for classic era servers
I feel you, it certainly has the biggest benefit to the close to full BiS players like myself. But with that being said you can make money so much easier and faster than you ever good before in the game. Even if you have bad gear if you do what you are suppose to do in raid you still get a full cut of the gold, so you can make gold very quickly. Additionally hardly anyone bids on the non-BiS gear so you can gear up pretty quickly and yes it costs gold but you will make more gold that run
you can jump right into gdkps raids as a fresh 60 especially as a healer or a lock and get paid AQ20 to start work ur way up to mc and zg then the rest after that. also play auction house. I went from 100g to 1000g in a week just by playing the auction house. buy low sell high, if u have a profession like mining sometimes bars are worth more than ore, see what you can convert and sell it.
Long live classic. I play classic I'm not on whitemane though. My server feels dead. Until endgame at least. Thinking about coming over to white mane eventually.
It really depends on if you want to play classic WoW or not. The servers are certainly very active and have all ranges of players, from new players making new characters to players with multiple full BiS characters that have been playing for many years. Personally Classic Era is my favorite version of the game and I really enjoy it, but everyone is different. The released fresh servers about 2-3 months ago, Deviate Delight, and they had some hype for a bit but that hype quickly died down and now most of those players play on Era.
I reactivated my account but the restrictions for the next 30 days suck imagine playing a month with no AH or mail having to buy bags and weapons from vendors
sorry to hear that homie, yeah blizzard did that to try and crack down on gold buyers. If you ask people for some bags they will probably give you soon. Hope you are having a good experience though :)
Granted i play on a Classic private server.. its just so much fun and easy to play as a casual gamer... Turtle WoW i highly recomend but if i could id just play retail classic
yeah man we are probably that same in that way, no time to start over, limited free time, so it is nice to be able to log in and have your BiS gear already and just jump right into playing the game

Players make new characters all the time but also we have need people playing era for the first time regularly. It really does have all types of players
Regardless of what faction you play, these servers have tons of players. The open world leveling area aren't packed as most players are 60, great for solo players who don't mind a bit of pvp. Can't hurt to check out one of the better versions of wow. Wtb Tbc classic era servers. 🙂

Whomever created your guild is probably a fan of The Rock and decided to call the guild Jabronis, as a fun tribute. its about 11 servers into one, so you can't choose any server. If you are starting fresh just go straight to whitemane. But in the description of this video at the botton I have a list of which servers are included in the whitemane cluster, you can check that. But is 11 servers are all combined including the auction house
People are realizing that this is the place to be if you want an actual MMORPG and not an instance simulator where no one talks and there's no community?
well not all of them, but a lot of them, but Whitemane is about 11 or 12 servers combined into one. There is also a PvE cluster that is multiple PvE servers combined into one as well, that cluster is Mankrik.

@@Fruza123 nah we don’t have many bots they move onto the newest thing where the gold is worth more. Honestly the vast vast majority of players don’t buy gold, they just grind Naxx and AQ40 GDKPs multiple times and week and make a lot of gold that way. But yes, you do have a play at a higher level for sure if your going to keep up with the big boys
So thats what this is pretty much, 1 mega server no layers. These are the exact same servers from 2019 when classic wow was first released. They just merged the servers together
A lot of the bots are gone, they moved onto SoD and classic Cata bc their gold is worth more. Lot of dungeon boosters for sure but there is a good amount of people leveling. People have told me they are able to make dungeon groups easily, especially with all the leveling guilds. A break from WoW is good! Hope that helps
Im on cata classic and dont see any bots, never have any problems getting my quests and mats, 3 toons to 85 on atiesh in 2 months all with maxed first aid, fishing, and cooking.
All I want is fresh progression servers : vanilla into TBC into wrath. GDKP is a bad system because a lot of the gold comes from RMT.... you realize that don't you ? If ALL the gold came from true honest means, then GDKP is absolutely fine, but since it's not like, it's just cheating basically, and supporting RMT. For that alone, you get a dislike and I won't even continue the video. Cya

honestly a lot of casuals like myself. It's great when you don't have to keep up with progression, dailys, rep grinds, etc. I have my BiS gear, it stays BiS, I don't level ever I just log in once or twice a week for an hour or two and just straight into the action

Make alts. I have 4 toons now and I can make about 15-20k a week if you raid enough.

Nup, there is a surprisingly steady stream of new players incoming. Leveling and dungeons are just as good as it was in vanilla

No Deviate Delight was the fresh server they released a few months ago, it is fresh so it is on its own

@@Fruza123 nah we don’t have many bots they move onto the newest thing where the gold is worth more. Honestly the vast vast majority of players don’t buy gold, they just grind Naxx and AQ40 GDKPs multiple times and week and make a lot of gold that way. But yes, you do have a play at a higher level for sure if your going to keep up with the big boys

So thats what this is pretty much, 1 mega server no layers. These are the exact same servers from 2019 when classic wow was first released. They just merged the servers together

A lot of the bots are gone, they moved onto SoD and classic Cata bc their gold is worth more. Lot of dungeon boosters for sure but there is a good amount of people leveling. People have told me they are able to make dungeon groups easily, especially with all the leveling guilds. A break from WoW is good! Hope that helps

Im on cata classic and dont see any bots, never have any problems getting my quests and mats, 3 toons to 85 on atiesh in 2 months all with maxed first aid, fishing, and cooking.

it's not a significant issue bc the bots tend to go where the new popular expansions is as that is where the gold is most valuable

GDKP is a bad system because a lot of the gold comes from RMT.... you realize that don't you ? If ALL the gold came from true honest means, then GDKP is absolutely fine, but since it's not like, it's just cheating basically, and supporting RMT. honestly a lot of casuals like myself. It's great when you don't have to keep up with progression, dailys, rep grinds, etc. I have my BiS gear, it stays BiS, I don't level ever I just log in once or twice a week for an hour or two and just straight into the action
