Remote control is 2,4 ghz, mod it with Raspberry pi 2,4 Ghz RC Module, put Raspberry Pi w battery in the head where the piggybank is, add a camera. Boom, Internet Robot. Definitely a great starting platform for 30 EUR to noodle around with.

With full charging it can move on carpet but not as well as a flat surface. For best performance you should play with it on a flat area.
