I have on the shelf in my home "office" the control "wheel, handle", (what the hell is it called again?) from a Super Skywagon (Turbocharged) that was crashed by a lady pilot in Zambia around 1969 to 1972. My Dad was a pilot with ZFDS (Zambia flying doctor service) at the time. He went to the crash site to help recover the wreck. Memories...
This airplane was designed with a double-opening door in the rear because the Cessna Co. discovered that there was a market for an airplane with an outsized opening amongst funeral directors who desired to move caskets (either empty, or occupied, your guess is as good as mine) from place to place.
Occupied. To transport someone "home" to their services in another state. Actually the market for a 6 place heavy hauler was great. Cargo, divers, 5 passengers... it got stretched to a 207. Others followed the leader, Cessna.
Beautiful plane, classic Cessna with a beautiful background and a nice landing
The sweetest plane in the world C206 , but also the 337 !!

Beautiful Airplane nice paint job composition!! I love these Super Skywagons, was my era!! Thanks and have many safe flights !!
Cessna has so many different types and all of them are fun to watch. Great video of the Skywagon.
They really do, it's interesting to see all the different models they've manufactured over the years.
Always love to see how the far away approaches turn into close up landings in your videos! Liked a lot! :)
Thanks! I always try to get as much of the approach as possible :-)

This U206C manufactured in 1968 indeed falls in the “Super Skywagon” category.

Fantastic ... I love this Aircraft

That's really interesting, I had no idea that was why these had the double-opening doors. That is quite the niche market!
Occupied. To transport someone "home" to their services in another state. Actually the market for a 6 place heavy hauler was great. Cargo, divers, 5 passengers... it got stretched to a 207. Others followed the leader, Cessna.
Amazing video mate!
Thanks!
I've noticed a lot of these big displacement single engine planes sound like they belong in the water...exhaust noise like a speed boat
They do produce quite the sound, always love hearing and seeing these large powerful Cessna's.
Best airplane made

Thanks for watching!
Brilliant . .
Keep it up!
As good as it gets
It has the bulge on the chin like the old 205
