I bet it's going to be badass. What kind of wrap is on your other grey truck? I can't decide if I should get 3m or something else

It’s satin grey metallic. 3M and Avery both make good vinyl films, they’re much more forgiving for installation compared to other brands.

Might be a dumb question but I’m curious how you removed the hood and we’re able to lower it and pull it off yourself? Any tips would be appreciated

I first disconnected the ground cable. Then loosened the hood hinges on either side, lowered the hood (giving just enough room to get my arm in), then finished undoing the hinge bolts by hand. After that just flip the hood up and take her away!
If you have a second person to assist you with the removal it would be 100% easier but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Hope that helps!

trust fund activities.....kidding, lol but i find it odd that someone would basically do extra steps for a "frame off" resto on something that didn't really require it. maybe if everything was rotted to hell, but I wasn't expecting that.

Tbh, I’ve always wanted to challenge myself with a full frame off build and with the LBZ being my favourite truck of all time, I figured why not!

@@warnerbu7lt My garage space is similar to yours and I've been wanting to do a frame off resto on a duramax as well! !!its awesome to see it get done in a set up Similar to mine, just a small garage, most these youtube builds nowadays are done in huge shops and its pretty discouraging to see especially considering all the other projects/ customer jobs i do that take up the shop space i have. You deserve more Subs, and I think I'll have to consider seriously following through with a duramax project after seeing this. Thank you!

Wicked job man! How do you plan on lifting the cab off?

Not sure if I’ll pick up an engine hoist to attempt it, or possibly build a custom A-Frame with a winch. Still debating and going over options
