Instant Pot Mac and Cheese is a no fuss lunch or dinner that tastes AMAZING. Today I’m answering all your instant pot mac and cheese questions and sharing what I’ve found to be THE BEST instant pot mac and cheese recipe!
Instant pot mac and cheese is so ow maintenance because you don't have to spend time "occasionally stirring" while the pasta cooks, and the instant pot gets the cooking done right every time! PLUS when you make homemade mac and cheese in the instant pot, you'll know WHAT ingredients are going in your food... so it's a healthier (and tastier) option than the boxed mac and cheese!

Instant Pot Mac and Cheese:
4 cups chicken broth
Melt 4 tablespoons butter on saute, then add broth
1 tsp hot sauce
1 tbs dijon mustard
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
Whisk then add 1 pound of pasta (4 cups dry or 453 grams)
Don’t stir in the pasta, just tap down so all pasta is covered
Cook on high pressure for 5 minutes then quick pressure release
Stir pasta then add 1/2-1 cup milk
Add cheese in handfuls and stir in between every few handfuls
Cheese blend:
2 cup sharp
1 cup medium
1 cup grated parmesan
2-4 oz cream cheese cubed
