Tekken was loosing hype so they decided to skip all the other stuff and focus on the fighting aspect if it gains more money it will go back to the old way but as of now it had to reinvent itself as the best functionality best fighting game mechanics and seeing how the other fighting games feel stiff is a good indication it might return back for T8 but who knows

You're moving around too much against a big lumbering target. I know that's how regular 1v1 Tekken is but that's not how you beat Nancy with a running timer(you had yours set to infinity) Jin strats Side gunner=sidestep to the opposite direction like what you did or if you can't evade in time then do 4~3. Gunner out of control=get close and spam Crouching 4 and do a WS move(WS 1,2 or WS 3) at the end of it. Sidestep/Sidewalk a lot at point blank range and take advantage of missed stomps but don't be too greedy and mostly use 1,2 jabs. Beam Attack=get close and deep sidestep on any direction and go ham on it. Spam 124 when it's in recovering frames(especially on 1st and 3rd time it short circuits)otherwise poke with 1 or 1,2 jabs(quick recovering)so as to avoid getting hit by stomp or getting rammed. Only moves I ever really use against Nancy are: 124, jabs, crouching 4, WS12, WS3, EWGF, u/b+1+2, 1+2, Running 3 and 4~3. You're arguably one of the best Jin Players I've ever seen and I mean no slight for saying all of this to ya. Stay slaying bro 👍
