    This is my second time doing this flow and my body LOVES it! I’m working my way out of survival mode and getting my body out of constantly being on high alert and this flow made me feel so good. This is how I will start my days! Thank you

    After practicing yoga for decades (prior to 2020) I have spent the last 3-4 years in survival mode and, sadly, fell out of practice (and also put on quite a few pounds... ) I have only recently learned abt Somatic movements and came across your video this morning. What a difference these seemingly small movements made in only 20 minutes time… I feel incredible! Will def be using these movements daily to help get back in touch with my inner self. Namaste.

    I’d forgotten how amazing this really is ❤recovering from a fractured wrist and recent/surgery so had to modify 😅but feel so relaxed and the feeling of well being is simply incredible ❤

    Out of some desperation 3 months post surgery, I have just tried this for the first time. Embarrassingly, at the beginning of this vid, I couldn't even fold my legs, thinking it was because of my weight gain. By the end of this, I folded my legs with ease, mind blowing!! What just happened?! 😅❤

      It's great that you can feel that. In sanskrit they use the word kalapa to represent the smallest particle you can imagine. And, I'd like to think that somatic movement practices like GSY help dissolve trauma out of the tissues. 💜James

    I’m so excited about this! Thank you. I’m wondering: Would you say this would be better to do first thing in the morning? Or before bed at night. Those are the only two times of day I’m able to fit something like this in, and I’m wondering if it would keep me awake at night

      Hi. First, I'm so happy to hear you found such great results. You ask a good question... You might explore trying this day and/or night. The benefit in the morning is that the Somatic Movement Flows can help prepare your muscles to move for the day... to give you more ease with movement.
      At night, this Gentle Somatic Yoga practice can help you release any tension you stored in your tissues during the day, and thus help you get a better night's sleep. :) Let me know how it goes. The benefits are cummulative and only practicing a few times a week is fine.

    Hi all- new to this (somatic yoga). In constant Fight or Flight mode (anxiety is through the roof). When would be the best time to do this/these exercises, please? Not sure if Somatic Yoga is best before bed? Any tips/help would be greatly appreciated ❤

      I have been doing yoga every day for a year and a half to help me with chronic pain. I just recently found somatic exercises and somatic yoga. I haven’t explored the other stuff offered by you because I didn’t realize you were on so many platforms. I’ll go look them up now

      I find all music in viddeos to many times be distractive in videos for movements, thats not why istr of us listen and can be distraction.

In short, this style of yoga is quite adaptable to individual's needs and also inherently more gentle on the body for people who have had injuries or deal with chronic issues and limited mobility. We encourage people to watch the Somatic Movement Flows first, then to practice them when they understand the movement so that they can adapt within their range of motion.     First hard to do with chronic pain and secondly the last segment was confusing especially laying down trying to see it. I’m more frustrated with myself than anything.

    I brain fog lots of the times with health issues
    The Force 🖖 continues to better movement to participate on Life's stage rather then decompose painfully on the side lines 😉
