@@OMA_MetalDetecting Yeah, I can imagine it'd make all the difference mate - really gorgeous artefact that. One of those where you don't worry much about its age hey?... 💪🤩
Lovely finds there mate, absolutely stunning silver matrix, really lovely 👍🏻 That is a really good idea to take a coin out to a new permission and bury it and see what the best settings are before starting up, I'm deffo going to try that when I go out next 👍🏻 keep up the good work mate 👍🏻 all the best Ryan.
Thank you buddy, much appreciated!! There is a video on my channel called “how to increase your finds rate” where I go into abit more detail about the benefits of burying a target in a new field. Stay lucky 👍👍
Michael, you both did very well. Coins are nice but your silver fob seal and winder are nice pieces. Thank you for showing us your new permission. Looking forward to many more interesting finds to come…cheers John
Thanks John mate! Really glad you enjoyed it. It was hard filming this one what with all the rain and mud but I’m glad I did. And yes, plenty more to come buddy. ATB 👍👍
Second attempt at leaving a comment, and maybe this one won't just disappear! The silver bracelet tag - Ike is an American abbreviation and Tinnie an American diminutive of Clementine. Family tree web-sites show that there were several Tinnie Bridges (and I'd read the surname as Bridges), all female and all American and I saw that one had died in Michigan as recently as 1983. So maybe you've found a sweetheart gift lost by a US serviceman here in WW2 perhaps?
Well I’m very glad you decided to persist and write it again because wow, what a comment! Absolutely fascinating what people know and now I have a whole new line of investigation. Thank you so much Howard 👍👍👍
Lovely stuff as ever mate - only part way thru, but clocking the lead/flower - an' I'd say almost def. old + perhaps a token of some sort... (I'm no expert), but I get the impression that anything decorative, (but a bit 'naive') in lead, has gotta be going back towards late medieval... Sweet find mate - now stop bothering me, while I watch the rest!... B 🙏
Haha, your comments always crack me up Bobby mate, brilliant!! Funny, I always think that when it comes to decorative lead things too but they are so hard to date ain’t they! Yes keep watching 😀👍👍
@@OMA_MetalDetecting Yes definitely mate! My Flo is pretty 'unforgiving' on dates, (especially lead!) She's recently declared all of my 'plain spindle whorls' as weights!... 😨 (I felt sure she'd count them as 'early Med' or even Roman - but nah, she downgraded my a*s!!... 😅 Tbh, I made it clear that I have a colossal crush on her - so it's prob. her way of keeping me at arms length!... (Lol... Obvs. not really...) 😇
@@UkuleleBobbyKemp lmao!! I can just picture it now… bobby; “what do you think of this gold coin I found?” FLO; “looks like a lead weight to me, next!” lol. Imagine being with a FLO though 😮😍

Bit of a late response but… I actually think you’re right, it does look like a wheel doesn’t it. Can’t believe I didn’t spot that at that time! Thank you 👍👍
I think it’s a silver bracelet I can remember them from many years ago 😮 lol lovely finds once again keep up the good work and I really need one of your hats I think you should start selling them 👍
Hiya Steve, hope you’re well buddy! Not a bad shout with the bracelet thing, I think I remember them aswell… chunky chain with those flat engraved plates. How’s the coin pod? 👍👍
Me and my grandson were binge watching your playlist the other day. He got through 10 hours of it. Made me realize how much he is into detecting also. So I'm shopping around for a good starter machine for him to join me on my hunts. He's convinced you must have loads of treasure chests at home overflowing with all the silver coins you've found. 😊
I noticed how you said “he” got through 10 hours of it Fred lol. After that marathon he deserves a detector for sure!! Tell him I said hi and that I do have some treasure yes and so will he if he puts in the time and energy. ATB my friend 👍👍
😊 Yeah, I don't think he sat in front of a television for more than 2-3 hours in his life. Sure was impressed with all your finds. I'll pass along your message. We are going out detecting this weekend together. He's got the bug now, wants that silver. 😂
Hey Jordan, thanks for the comment bud. You know every time I look at it I’m sure it says something different lol. Can defiantly see Daniel now though, that might change tomorrow!! ATB mate 👍👍
Wow! Awesome, thanks Nick. Just looked into those farmers lead tokens and I think you could be right on the money there my friend. Also great shout on the poor man’s love token aswell. Great comment 👍👍
Hey that was great Michael - absol. love that seal matrix! - more decorative than the other ones I've seen detectorists pullup, so well done mate!!
It’s a cracker isn’t it. It basically saved the day in a way as it was a right trek to get to this permission but that made it all worth it matey 👍👍

Hello Michael,
very nice video 👍
I think the lead flower could be a wheel (of a Roman chariot for example) 🤔
The seal is magnificent 🤩
see you soon.

As a U.S. Texan, it cracks me up when you say something from the 1700's isn't that old.....
