There is positivity to be had from even the most tragic of situations. I'm glad he tries to guide his boy down a better path, of promise, fulfillment, righteousness, dedication, strength & perseverance. An education is the key to a world of ignorance, mankind's biggest threat. I wish both him and his son success, happiness, peace & healing. ❤️🙏🏻
My parents knew one of Dahmer's victims and they send Scarver a care package on July 25th every year. They chose that date because he gets too much stuff on Christmas. Sadly, he was in solitary confinement for a very long time until he managed to bring a lawsuit. I think he should get parole when he's really old. Especially because he had undiagnosed schizophrenia when he first killed. He's not innocent, but it's a mitigating factor.
Schizophrenia? Never knew that. It really makes me wonder what went through his mind when he was left alone with Dahmer. The more I think about it, the idea that it was set up just becomes more and more realistic. Smh
That's an amazing story. Isn't it amazing that one letter from his Dad got him back on the right track? So many seem to fall into it, despite the efforts of their parents/ friends... and he left it off, turned his life around on a few words of encouragement from his incarcerated dad...
Chris, nobody blames your dad too much. It was still wrong to kill, but really, Dahmer didn't stop tormenting people even after he was incarcerated. It is well known that he would systematically torment the other inmates and the guards... I think the other prisoners felt like it was kind of 'kill or be killed'. I can't really blame Chris' dad too much.
He was in prison for murder himself! I know he killed Jeffery but he also killed someone to get into prison in the first place. A man who can kill so easy (even if the person he is killing is a monster) is a dangerous man and deserves prison.
It's a hard burden to shoulder having even one parent be locked up. I'm very proud of this young man who loves his father and has gone above and beyond to do the work to continue to be excellent in life.

You don’t because you don’t know nothing about that life so stay on the porch internet pussy.
Ok, so this is why I think Chris is the "bigger man." He murdered a murderer, who enjoyed what he did. Now I'm not saying he's a hero, but he did do the dirty work that everyone wants to see happen, but no one will actually do.
No he shouldn't, he still killed an innocent person to get into Gaol, but I partially agree with you, he should be pardoned for the murders of Anderson and Dahmer.
He murdered an innocent person before all of this shit. Yeah, lets let a REPEAT MURDERER out on the loose because he killed a serial killer. That makes sense.

Captain Picard no, no it’s not. Lol. There’s a very fine line between the two. Why don’t they say murder when they “execute” a criminal? Lmao. Because it’s no longer perceived as “murder”.

Positive story ❤️ Very inspiring & hopeful!! "Tough times don't last, but tough people do!!" Wise words!! Teaching his son better, that's real love of a father and the next best substitute. I know people who had their dad's and were influenced a lot worse!!!! Maybe his father's path was a blessing of learning for their family, an evolution in a sense.
Smh

@@loubabycoles5957 I think being in the hole for 18 years would have that affect on you.
I can't really blame Chris' dad too much.
he didnt know how to act socially thats why they hated him he didnt know how to act
I think the tormenting shit was a load of bullshit I don't believe it police guards always lie
He was in prison for murder himself! I know he killed Jeffery but he also killed someone to get into prison in the first place. A man who can kill so easy (even if the person he is killing is a monster) is a dangerous man and deserves prison.
In reality, one serial killer killed another serial killer.
It's a hard burden to shoulder having even one parent be locked up. I'm very proud of this young man who loves his father and has gone above and beyond to do the work to continue to be excellent in life.
Praise a killer for killing another killer makes a lot of sense
He killed 2 other killers, one (JD) was a serial killer/rapist/necrophiliac/cannibal........I would praise him for that.
Kate Mildren You must have a hard head and can't comprehend
They are not calling a killer a hero for killing another killer that would be crazy..They are calling a killer a hero for killing a sick piece of shit SERIAL KILLER believe me there's a huge difference..they never said that dude was a very nice guy amd should be let out hell naw they ain't said no stupid shit like that..dude killed a man that raped murdered and eat people 2 or 3 of which were teenagers so he's only some kind of weird ass prison hero for that isolated situation it doesnt at all erase all of the fucked up shit that he has done himself..in my eyes he's still a steaming pile of freshly brewed shit and it doesn't matter if he had killed 10 serial killers he'll still be a piece of shit..
Brother Noah I personally don't believe that you should condemn a person for taking out the garbage...... If i were to get rid of cancer out of my body people look to me as an inspiration........ how is doing something like that in society any different????? Some humans are cancer in our society and need to be cut out like the poison that they truely are..... Not everyone is created equal....
Kate Mildren fuck u kate
+Brother Noah "If a killer kills a killer, the number of killers in the world stays the same." Incorrect.
If there are two killers, and one killer murders the other, how many are left? Hint: Not two.
People that don’t know the system don’t realize how the guards set this up. A black guy alone with two white guys in a weight room should never happen.
@Oh yeah chungus prison politics rule that's why they should've never been together
Oh yeah chungus are u restarted and white that’s two killers one ☝🏾 that killed several over a time period and one black male that only killed one that’s not normal and full of weights HEAVY weights
Oh yeah chungus you don’t know the main reason. Jail is super racist. They could have been trying to rape him. Your speculating. Have a seat
Oh yeah chungus I just came home from two murder chargers. And beat a federal indictment looking at life for a continuing criminal enterprise. Google my name this is all public record. I might know a little bit little girl.
Oh yeah chungus you asked what I know about jail right? And think about it would you say any of this in person? No you hiding behind a fake handle. If you was facing murder charges you would tell or kill yourself. Do you know how much it cost to beat a double murder charge? Than a federal indictment? You don’t because you don’t know nothing about that life so stay on the porch internet pussy.
All the power and respect to this young guy for not using other peoples behaviours as an excuse to do the same and breaking the pattern!Xx

Wow that advice legit made me tear up he’s a stand up father regardless of his past that time he has been given hasn’t got to him
Ok, so this is why I think Chris is the "bigger man." He murdered a murderer, who enjoyed what he did. Now I'm not saying he's a hero, but he did do the dirty work that everyone wants to see happen, but no one will actually do.
people who murder, rape, or kidnap deserve death penalty.

Christopher Scarver should be pardoned.
should be given an award
No he shouldn't, he still killed an innocent person to get into Gaol, but I partially agree with you, he should be pardoned for the murders of Anderson and Dahmer.
Dion R I agree
He murdered an innocent person before all of this shit. Yeah, lets let a REPEAT MURDERER out on the loose because he killed a serial killer. That makes sense.
christopher scarver killed a person for $15 and suffered from messianic delusions, clearly a menace to society and you think he should be released for killing again........ lol
The day I heard about that news I swear to God the entire world called his dad a hero. Still today your dad's a hero to us brother. He put that piece of horrendous shit to rest. For all the families and for his own kids. What a selfless act he did. Always will see it in that light.
I agree!
Agree, that piece of 🗑️💩 (Dahmer) never regretted what he did and he even mocked and made jokes about cannibalism while he was still in jail. He also had benefits by paying guards with the money he was receiving from fans. Christopher Scarver is a real one.

This kid is obviously built different. Most kids from an early age would've worn the badge of having a murderer as a badge of honor. Leading them down the same path. Somehow this young man walked a tight rope of love/respect for father, but shame of his actions. Credit to all of the people who kept him on the right track. I'm sure it wasn't easy.
